It is never an easy decision to move a family member into a different living environment, so we were delighted to find Pacific Northwest Home Care Adult Family Home. The home is spotless, welcoming, and well-organized. Elena is on top of every detail and truly cares about her residents and their unique needs. She is accessible at all times and quickly responds to any questions we might have. She has a deep understanding of dementia and the specialized care that is required to manage and enhance an individual’s quality of life. Her team is knowledgeable, well-trained, and, most importantly, kind. As a family, we highly recommend Pacific Northwest Home Care Adult Family Home!

We were very happy and relieved with the care our mother received from Elena and her staff, and with how welcome we felt every time we visited her. Mom had dementia for almost 30 years--taken care of by our dad until he couldn't do it any longer. We had a very traumatic transfer to memory care at a large facility and an unsatisfactory level of care for mom for about a year and a half, until Elena's place and some other homes were recommended for mom. Elena's warmth, her comfortable home, very nice private room, and much lower monthly cost compared to the large facility, all coalesced into a win-win-WIN decision for us. Mom was much cleaner and happier every time we visited than she was before--soothing our distress in the last months of her life and letting us just spend quiet time with her. We are so thankful for everything Elena and Pacific Northwest Home Care AFH did for mom and our family.

It is clear that Elena and the staff care a great deal about the residents they care for and do an excellent job. What appealed to me from the fist step I took in the home is how clean, orderly, spacious and pleasant it is. I knew that my mom would like it. She is looking much healthier and happier since she has been there. I come by for quick visits and have also brought my brother and sister and their families for visits and each time we feel welcome. A Nurse Practitioner visits monthly and he and Elena are open to discussing my mom's health needs and taking a team approach to dealing with them. They also have a hair stylist visit and provide nail care. All of this means a great deal to me.

Elena and her staff are amazing! I highly recommend this home. I looked for many AFH for my mom diagnosed with dementia. I prayed to find the perfect home for my mom. When I first met Elena I was very impressed how much knowledge and experience she has dealing with my mom’s diagnoses. All the staff are compassionate, caring and professional. There’s a lot of communication between the caregivers and family members for the well-being of our love ones. Did I mention this? My mom speaks Spanish only, everyone has taking the time to learn Spanish to be able to communicate with my mom! My family and I are very pleased about my mother care from medical care, hygiene, nutrition! If you’re looking for an Adult Family Home this is the right one!

Wow and Wow! Moving my mom and then my dad (45 days later) into Pacific Northwest Home Care has been the best decision. I asked my mom what to write and she said “superb care!.” Elena is amazing, genuinely caring and engaged in providing respectful and effective home care to our elders. She has hired incredible staff. Every time I visit they are moving around either spending time with the residents, providing care or cleaning. The care providers seem happy which means to me that they are being treated well and supported. My mom and dad get a better ratio of care providers compared to a skilled nursing facility and it is more cost effective and feels like they are home. I researched adult family homes and the five star ratings here are justified. Elena’s communication is fabulous. She had a team of great care providers. She and her team treat my parents with the respect they deserve having survived 80 years of age and 57 years of marriage. Elena is very open to individual needs and preferences. My mom gets a personal bed bath every day and has not looked better in the past few years. My sister and I are so relieved and grateful. We are always welcomed into the house and Elena has been responsive to all communications. A++++++++.
