The Orchards Skilled Nursing and Rehab center is excellent. I found the staff to be overall excellent and genuinely caring. The facility is kept up really well, very clean and well managed. The Physical and Occupational Therapists were terrific and made a big difference in my recovery. I would highly recommend The Orchards!

My mother spent two weeks at The Orchards for rehabilitation after breaking her hip, and we could not be more grateful for the outstanding care she received. Every single staff member was wonderful and truly went above and beyond. Sara K, Elizabeth (Liz), and Dee were exceptional—compassionate, attentive, and always making sure my mom felt cared for and supported. Heather, Fiona, and Lisa were equally amazing in PT and OT; their expertise, encouragement, and dedication played a huge role in her recovery. Our only regret is that we can’t return on a private-pay basis to continue PT/OT, because my mom left stronger than when she arrived. Thank you to the entire Orchards team for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional care. We highly recommend The Orchards. Thank you again!

In May 2025, my wife was first admitted to the Memory Care facility at The Orchards. Unfortunately, her stay there was brief due to complications from a previous fall at home that led to dual hematomas and brain surgery. After her hospital recovery, she was discharged to The Orchards Skilled Nursing Facility, where she received physical and occupational therapy. From the very beginning, I was struck by the caliber of the staff. They are not only highly trained and professional but also exceptionally kind and personable. The therapists worked with my wife daily, and the nurses and aides treated her with compassion and respect. Management was equally impressive—responsive, proactive, and genuinely caring about her progress and our family’s peace of mind. The food services were also excellent—the meals were well-prepared, balanced, and nutritious, which gave me added confidence that she was being cared for in every respect. The facility itself is modern, comfortable, and well designed, which adds to the overall sense of security and care. What stood out to me most was the way everyone—from administration to therapy staff—worked together as a true team. It’s clear they care deeply about their patients and families. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Orchards to anyone needing skilled nursing or memory care. They helped us through a very difficult time, and I am truly grateful.

The Orchards facility and team members are outstanding. My husband was a patient there and he was treated like a family member. Administration kept us informed of how my husband was progressing. The doctors always called me after seeing my husband to give me their findings. The nurses and nurse staff were caring, compassionate, and professional. I was always welcomed and greeted by my name. Every team member who is responsible for the many tasks involved in maintaining a safe environment for my husband were top notch. PT, OT and speech therapy were kind, positive and welcomed family to join in on the therapy. My husband enjoyed the many activities. The activities directors brought laughter and fun to the patients. It is a wonderful home away from home.

My Aunt chose to live here and had to be shuffled around to a variety of other places due to the pandemic hindering their opening. After making some calls to our state and county representatives, I was able to assist the director in getting their inspection approved. My Aunt was the first resident to move in after that and as the only resident for many months, she was nicknamed, "Princess" because the staff were all at her because and call having no one else to assist. I visited her often over the years she lived there and was always impressed with the pleasant environment, the quality of care, and the activities she was able to enjoy. They even allowed her to have a tomato plant to watch over. After having to communicate with her through a glass window at other places and hear stories of people screaming at other places she stayed, I was so relieved she could finally end her days in peace and tranquility with as many visitors as made the trip to see her. The Orchards maintained a strict covid protocol during the final stages of the pandemic which I endured for everyone's safety. Whenever I would find something I felt needed attention, we were able to resolve it immediately. I believe families have to take responsibility for the care of their loved ones and not just drop them off expecting everything to be fine. I caught my Aunt's covid bout because I heard it in her voice in the few words she was able to speak after her strokes. The staff, once alerted, immediately sprang into action. They weren't as aware because they didn't know her as well as I did. I believe every place has its ups and downs, but out of all the places my Aunt stayed at, the Orchards consistently provided loving care. I recently visited to drop off a thank you note and one of my favorite staff members told me she still misses my Aunt. That brought tears to my eyes. I believe if you have a loved one you care about, you won't find a more pleasant place for them to stay in while they either recover, or live out their life. I would highly recommend you choose one near your loved one's area to allow easy access for friends and relatives to visit. That was my only regret for my Aunt, but otherwise, it was a very nice experience for her and I am grateful she was there.
