Thank you Optimum Personal Care. My Mom was a resident at Missouri city for a year before transitioning to end of life. Not only are the grounds and facility gorgeous the staff, owner Sharon and brother are exquisite in their care and training of staff. The staff treats all residents like they are their family member. Optimum allowed me and my siblings to stay with my mom during her end of life which is a gift we are eternally thankful. If you are trying to find a location for your loved one please look at this care facility. Dignity and grace wrapped with kindness is how I would describe optimum. Lori Thompson

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. Situations involving the health and well-being of loved ones are incredibly sensitive, and we understand how difficult and emotional this can be for families. That said, we would like to respectfully clarify a few important points. Our community is committed to providing attentive, compassionate care, and we follow established clinical protocols when a resident’s medical needs exceed what can safely be managed on-site. In those cases, transferring a resident to a hospital or rehabilitation facility is done to ensure they receive the appropriate level of care not as a substitute for it. Regarding responsiveness and daily care, we maintain staffing standards and training designed to support timely assistance and resident dignity. Concerns about delays in care are taken very seriously, and we encourage families to bring them directly to leadership so they can be addressed promptly. In terms of billing, assisted living communities typically operate on a monthly residency model rather than a per-day occupancy structure, which is standard across the industry. Our pricing is all inclusive and does not allow for levels of care. i am not sure how we tripled your price. I remember your family moving her out to another facility without formally informing management. We received a text message stating we could rent her room. We also want to emphasize that transparency and trust are core to how we operate. Any perception otherwise is something we would want the opportunity to review and resolve directly. We genuinely care about every resident and family we serve, and we remain open to having a constructive conversation offline to better understand your concerns and work toward clarity.

Horrible experience for my mother-in-law. She was miserable the entire time and spent more time at various hospitals than this location. They rarely would do anything for her and when they finally did all they would do is call the hospital, and then she would go to a rehab facility and then back to this location and spent maybe 6 or 7 days there for an entire month but then they would charge the full price for a room. To make it worse on her last hospitalization we tried to send her back for care and they TRIPLED the price abruptly without any reasonable explanation. They tried to rip off my mother-in-law, provided minimal care, would not respond to requests for help, would let her sit in her pee for hours without any response and their neglect, fraud and deceit is outrageous. They are basically ripping off government programs, neglecting patients and then tripling the price they charge after luring families in initially. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. The positive reviews are obviously fake.

My mother-in-law had been in two homes before this one that didn't work out. so when she got here she said it was like going from hell to heaven. The nurses and staff cared for her as if she was their own grandmother. The nurses sat and talked with her and fixed her hair and nails and just lavished continual love and compassion on her. If I am ever at a stage in life where I need to live in a nursing home I hope and pray I will have a place like this to go to!! Love love love them!!

My Dad has been living at Quality Living for the past 5 years. He is always treated with love and compassion from staff members even when he gets verbally abusive. I don't worry about him as I get to know staff and listen/watch when I visit. I hope people do the same. I've been to numerous places and most smell of urine. Quality Living is always clean. Food is prepared very well and everyone participates in activities if they want or able to do so.
