The ‘Oasis’ rehabilitation center in Casa Grande, AZ, does not provide proper care to patients. The nurses do whatever they please, rather than what the patient actually needs; furthermore, they do not allow close relatives to stay and keep the patient company—instead, they rudely kick them out after 10:00 PM. There is no one to whom one can file a complaint.

Except for their therapy department, every other department rates very low. They were not consistent with giving meds or said they couldn't give meds that had been missed earlier because it wasnt on their list. Alot of the aides gave you the impression that they didn't even want to be there. Sometimes you would ask them to ask a nurse for maybe tums and later found out that they never asked the nurse. I even had one aide lie about me to another aide. The food was not fit for anyone there. It was high in sodium and probably preservatives and phosphorus.i would give every dept. except thrarapy a 1. They checked my blood pressure one morning and it was high so they gave me medications to bring my BP down. This was at 6:30am. It wasnt until 7:30 that night that they checked my blood pressure again. I remember my top number was 210. Instead of sending me to the hospital, they spent the night trying to get my BP down. Its inconceivable that they didn't check my blood pressure at all that day. It was the weekend and because all the offices were closed, the staff did very little on the weekends. How does a facility like this stay open? I spoke to other people about the poor conditions there and both of them had there own stories of poor care at Oasis. The state should be checking that facility at least once a month.

Horrible!!! Unclean, unprofessional, and general lack of consideration for the patients wellbeing. Our Loved one was admitted there and they never bathed her the entire time she was there. I had to do it myself after they said they do it on Thursdays and Sundays. Her roommate was also not bathed for over 2 weeks. They messed up her medications. They messed up her off site doctor appointments. She fell while in their care and they didn't document or check her for additional injuries following the fall. We know this because when we asked about it the nurse told us that the previous shift did not put it in her file; we kept insisting that it go in her file and they kept making excuses to why it was never added. They skipped giving her meals and when she got them they put them out of her reach and she was not able to get them. Then would tell us " she was not hungry or didn't have an appetite" She got a bed sore that got infected because they didn't change her for over 14 hours. The staff was rude and played on their phones instead of caring for the patients. I can not say enough about how horrendous this place was. For the sake of your loved ones take them elsewhere.

Youu can call & call with anyone rarely answering the calls. If you get someone on the phone you get sent to a voicemail with no call back. If your trying to check on your family member you'll have to wait until it's convenient for them to call you back. I understand that they are very busy with patients. But if your calling daily from Friday until Monday with no response that's absolutely ridiculous. The facility needs a better way for family to be able to speak with the family members that are being cared for in the facility.

This place is a nightmare! My brother died from sepsis back in 2017 because they refused to take him to the hospital because he was on hospice when clearly sepsis was not the reason of hospice. We hated to have to send another brother there last week but only facility in Casa Grande! They treated my brother like a piece of crap. He required 4 doses per day of antibiotics in his pic and was lucky if he got 1 to 2 doses per day. They didn't check on him very much, he wasn't offered food or snacks, his insulin was only checked once and given 1 time per day. His sugar checked one time per day. He wasn't allowed to take a shower and what's worse is they teased him. They would open his door, turn on the lights, and close it at night just to wake him up. They never flushed his pic as well. His room stunk and was filthy. Very unprofessional staff and nurses! I guess plan was to kill him too but my brother was not an invalid and he walked out after 6 days there! Owner must be crappy because reading these reviews and there continues to be no changes! This place needs to be shut down. My brother's phone and TV didn't even work! The price for this place is crazy! Very abusive environment!
