My grandmother was being mistreated. they barely changed her, bathed her, or help her to the bed or bathroom. One night she slept in the wheel chair all night, Because no one would answer the call light. Room smelled like dodo & piss cause nobody ain’t came to changed her in hours. She was only there for a few days before we took her out. It’s SAD when healthcare professionals warn you not to take your love one here! The 1 star views are real the 5 starts are fake!

My husband was a patient there after breaking his femur and having a partial hip replacement. The facility looks wonderful. An impressive physical rehab area, nice lobby, a little cantina, chapel, movie theater. I was totally impressed. It was only after he was admitted that I learned all of the amenities were for show. He received very little physical rehab while he was there. And I never saw anyone make use of the chapel or theater or bistro. He desperately wanted to have help to get to the bathroom but the staff kept him in adult briefs, which were not changed often enough, and refused to help him make it safely to the bathroom, Almost all hands on care was given by med techs who generally made it clear they were there for a paycheck and had no real compassion for the residents. The one nurse on the wing administered medication. No othet interaction.My husband was left in urine soaked briefs or briefs with fecal matter in them for long periods of time. He eventually developed a UTI (EColi in his bloodstream) and he went septic. I came to visit and he was slumped over in a chair unconscious and the staff had no idea what was wrong with him. It wasn’t until I arrived and began asking questions that the nurse and pa’s tried to determine what was going on with him .He was rushed to St Mary’s ER where we learned he had acute renal failure and heart failure. I fully believe that if I had delayed my visit by a few hours, he would have been dead when I arrived. It was a traumatizing experience for him and for me. I truly cannot find anything good to say about it. Beware and ask a lot of questions .

I had a 25% chance of keeping my leg. IV bags were not administered at prescribed times. I had talked to the administer of the facility 4 times and each time I was assured it would not happen again. Yes, the staff was friendly, but lacked knowledge of companies policy. The 1st night (Friday) I stated my son was driving tomorrow 1000 miles but he didn't want to keep his dog in the vehicle if it wasn't allowed. I received no answer except to find out Monday. The facility says they provide patients transportation to doctors appointments. After telling 3 staff members to double check, I was assured it was on the schedule. I had to make arrangements in the morning when they said, not on the schedule. The Oaks parent company, Pruitt has 14 facilities, they also own the pharmacy. Which was also blamed for some medicine issues. They also told me about seasonal sicknesses, where care was lacking. They still billed fully. I've even filled a complaint with the State of Georgia. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY UNTIL THEY GET THEIR POOP TOGETHER! My name is Patrick and I was admitted for 40 days.

My mother is currently at the Oaks recovering after a long hospital stay. We have had an excellent experience so far. The nurses and CNAs have been very nice, the therapy has been excellent, and the social worker and care plan team have been great about communicating with me. My mother is improving every day. The facility is very clean and the food is exceptional! I’ll continue to update as my mom is still a patient, but so far I have been very impressed!

My mother-in-law spent a month in rehab at the Oaks. We found the facility to be clean and inviting. A key to the great atmosphere were the staff members. The nurses, CNAs, and professional staff were friendly and took great care of her and us. We were very impressed with the therapists and the work they did to get her back up and going so she could return home. A rehab stint is stressful and we appreciated the support the Oaks gave our family.
