If I could give negative stars I would, this place has always had a reputation as being garbage, and let me tell you, the rumors are more than true, this places gross neglect almost killed my grandmother while she was supposed to be being rehabilitated, fortunate for her she had her family support that got her to a hospital just before going septic, unfortunately most in that place have no one, hence why the staff and care go unchecked. That being said if you have any other options other than sending a loved one to this place I would highly recommend that. The state should look into this place and have a overhaul of policies and regulations that caters to the health and well being of the residents and patients

Robbed client ( my sister) of her furniture and personal items while she was hospitalized. They gave her room away and threw her belongings ( some, that were actually given back) into cheap clear trash bags full of holes. These people MENTALLY abuse people and treat them as if their quality of life and rights are not important. Staff does not answer phones frequently, and they do not return calls when messages are left. They treat visitors as if they are spies and it is clear they prefer not to have family members visit due to them having opportunity to witness the poor care given. Meals are of poor quality and nutrition is clearly not a priority. My sister experienced 4 urinary infections in ONE year due to being left in urine filled briefs. I have witnessed call bells being unanswered for nearly an hour. Discusting environment where staff is miserable clearly due to miserable conditions. Highly NOT recommended

This facility is terrible. They knew nothing about my mother's medical needs. The facility administrator told me she was brought in from a totally different hospital, had no idea what she was there for, yet tried to argue with me about what treatment she needed. Then he called the wrong family member to discuss things with her that she knew nothing about! She was placed there for short term rehab, but the only staff who helped her were the physical therapists and one awesome evening nurse. Otherwise, the residents are left to fend for themselves. While I was in the facility one evening, a resident fell multiple times and was laying on the floor in the hallway for at least 10 minutes waiting while I ran around trying to find someone to help him! There was only one nurse scheduled on that floor, for 30+ residents! The food is never what they list and my mother was never brought water unless she begged for it. We started bringing in cases of bottled water. Then when she was well enough to go home, the administrator fought with me again over her release. He told me that if I took her before Monday, it wouldn't be covered by her insurance, but then turned around and tried to bill us for two extra days stay! I cannot say enough about why you should NOT allow someone to stay at this facility. My mother will never be staying here again!

My 82 yr old mother was sent to this facility directly from the hospital after a cardiac event to receive care and physical therapy. She was put in a room in which she had to share a toilet with 3 other handicapped patients. The toilet was clogged, the soap dispenser did not work. She needed help to use the facility because at the time she was unable to do it alone. There was no one to help her and no walker for her to use. It looked as if the bathroom had not been cleaned in days. When they brought her a meal for dinner, it was inedible. Bread was stale and the meat was spoiled. The room itself was very small and would not have accommodated a walker. There was no way we could have left her at this facility. If you care at all about your family members needing care , please do not bring them to this “rehabilitation facility !”
