1 year ago I was on suicide watch for the first time. They helped me realize I wasn't alone. My only concern was security, while I was sleeping, another patient entered my room and that was nerve racking . Aside from that, I want to thank them fir being there.

This is the best institution in the State as far as I’m concerned. Staff are very knowledgeable and very professional. This is no picnic but it beats the rest of the state institutions I’ve been in before.

Experienced discrimination for being an Asian American by multiple people including Dr Yasmin and Jeff and many others. I made multiple incident reports of harassment and discrimination by staff and one based on a med error and they barely investigated my case. I almost died. I literally almost went into cardiac arrest with the medication Hannah provided and my blood started thinning and I went severely dehydrated I am lucky to be alive. There were good staff like Nikki(OT) literally an angel and Brad and Taylor and Sharon and others I haven't listed. Oh yeah patients don't have rights there apparently. I would be denied a blanket or other things and it was chilling cold in my room. Note don't work in healthcare if u don't have empathy. Also I believe a woman of Jamaican descent who works with the group meetings made me very uncomfortable. Is this how u treat victims of a horrendous crime? Like I said don't work here including u (Penny) if u don't like helping people. Also was misdiagnosed for bipolar/ schizophrenia no I don't have those things just because I'm asian doesn't make it ok to misdiagnosed a victim and gaslighting them to be crazy. Also big shout out to Dr hoppe! Showed me true kindness and understanding.

They refused to take family member to ER after his gallbladder became infected, despite his being in pain, elevated BP, and known history of gallstones diagnosed while in THEIR care. Only when his skin turned yellow 3 days later did they allow him to be taken to the hospital. He nearly died because of the bile inflaming many of his organs and destroying a portion of his pancreas. Shameful.
