My father was there almost three days . He coded and was put in life support with a blood sugar of 10 . First he was a DNR and the sending facility stated they gave them this in report and on paperwork . Second I received zero communication that he coded and was sent to the hospital . I did not find out till the afternoon when a doctor called to tell me to come quick he was dying !!! I called the rehab and they still have not responded or called me . I have heard zero . I have been a nurse for 25 years I have been a Director and never have I seen this ! Do not send your family here . I am unsure of how his sugar got to 10 or that they coded him with a DNR . They do not listen or look at records or anything else . The sending facility stated they sent all of our information . Still no call !! Very disappointed !

All I can say is every single day my Mom was there for rehabilitation she fell… From day one until I had Mom moved to another Rehabilitation facility. During one of her falls two of her bottom teeth broke. I couldn’t get my Mom out of there fast enough. It was a nightmare… They actually tried to keep Mom there. The calls about my mom’s falls were cold and distant. Robotic even. Soooooo glad 😌 I got her out of there. No longer medicated and delusional. All I can say is thank you, God for the strength, knowledge, wisdom and grace you gave me to help my Mom. What a BIG difference a difference a more hands on and caring Rehabilitation Facility made in Moms life.

I am so grateful for the excellent care that my niece is receiving at NE Rehab. She had a stroke which left her paralyzed on one side & is mostly bedridden. For the 1st time in a year & a half (in hospitals & care homes) she is now responding to daily therapy sessions from this excellent staff with PT, OT & speech therapy. This facility is kept clean & my niece enjoys her meals! They make sure to get her up and about almost daily using the hoyer lift from bed to wheelchair. They also have activities with games, crafts and faith services here. Thank you to staff and to management for showing the residents such kindness and caring.
