All of the caregivers we worked with were so kind and compassionate. They treated our grandmother like their own. They were proactive and eager to help however they could. Maryann was so easy to work with and very responsive.

Right from the start over 6 months ago, it seems like we picked the right company. When the owner, RN MaryAnn Pastalone, met with me and my my husband who is disabled and uses a power wheel chair, we were impressed with her compassion based on her professional and personal experiences. MaryAnn promised that she would find us the right caregivers to help my husband with his ADL's, and she more than delivered on that promise! We need caregivers who are familiar with the use of a hoyer type lift for transfers. North Star hires caregivers who are experienced CNA's, skilled, caring individuals who take initiative and are pleasant to have in our home.
