North Star Assisted & Senior Living

North Star is an independent and assisted living community in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The community offers independent living and assisted living options, with assisted living providing extra help with daily tasks while maintaining connection and independence. All residents receive an emergency response pendant and on-call personal care available 24 hours a day.

The community features a horseshoe-shaped building design with common areas at the center and nearby elevators for easy navigation. Residents choose from spacious floor plans including two-bedroom and studio options without long-term contracts. Amenities include complimentary laundry rooms on each floor with optional staff assistance, a bistro serving meals prepared from scratch by on-site chefs Leon and Roger, and dining with multiple menu options.

North Star connects directly to the Centennial Trail and is located just above Riverstone Village, minutes from downtown Coeur d'Alene. The community is positioned just above the downtown area, offering easy access to local attractions and outdoor recreation.

The calendar includes over 45 weekly activities and events such as thrift store fashion shows, craft fairs, birdhouse painting, lake cruises, happy hours, dance classes, and casino nights. The community also features raised garden beds and regularly updated programming designed for seniors.

Families can monitor their loved ones' participation through the LifeLoop app, which provides calendar access, activity records, and tagged photos, along with personalized weekly email updates. The community is part of Stellar Senior Living, a family-owned and operated network.
