The front desk lady was great. She helped check in and gave explicit directions to the room. However, the patient is unable to eat or drink and appeared to be severely dehydrated from the looks of his urine bag. There was no IV hooked up for hydration.

Our experience at this facility was extremely disappointing and concerning. My mother has dementia, and in hindsight this facility should never have accepted her if they were not able to properly care for her needs. During one visit, she was left sitting in her own feces and I had to clean her myself because no staff came to help. I waited over an hour for a CNA to assist and no one responded. On another occasion, my mother was clearly in pain. I asked a CNA to get the nurse, but she never did. After waiting an hour and forty minutes with no help, I finally had to go find the nurse myself, and she said she had never been told that assistance was requested. I was told that two grievance reports would be filed regarding these incidents, and I requested copies of them. I am still waiting and have never received them. Because of these repeated failures in care and communication, I made the decision to remove my mother from the facility. No family should have to worry about their loved one being left in that condition or ignored when they are in pain. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility and would strongly urge families to think carefully before placing a loved here

From the time I entered the building everyone was friendly and helpful. The nurse, OT and MA’s were knowledgeable and supportive of the patient. The patient’s daughter,my granddaughter, had a list of questions for his nurse and she patiently and respectfully took the time to answer her questions or referred her to the person that could answer them. I have been visiting my son for about a week now and again cannot say enough about his caregivers. I am so happy that he is at your facility and looking forward to seeing his progress because I feel his care from the staff is like family. Make sure your staff know this from admissions to housekeeping.

I am forever grateful to North Campus for their care for my family member and me. I am especially grateful for the outstanding support provided by the Social Services team of Santana and Ashley. From the beginning they were both empathetic and professional. They listened, guided and supported me from the start to the end. When I fell apart they were there for me and my family member. When I was panicking, they found a way for me to complete some legal documents efficiently and with genuine care. When my family member panicked, they visited and calmed him. On his last night, they stayed with him after normal working hours until I could get there - this was beyond the call of duty and a great comfort to me, his family and his friends. All the North Campus staff — nurses, CNAs, facilities — provided my family member great care throughout his stay until he passed. The night/evening shift nurses Mary and Debbie stood out for me. Debbie answered her phone when she wasn’t on shift and Mary was supportive and kind, especially his last night. So many people took care of me that last night - it is all a blur. I hope this review conveys my respect, appreciation and admiration for all the staff at N Campus. They work under difficult circumstances with kindness and care.
