I love this place the management and all the staff are very nice and friendly and keep up well on maintenance and everything....... 👍💯 I have a family member who lives there and I just adore the management and staff.

A couple years ago in 2019 I had a small tour of the building. I saw one of the empty apartments. The kitchen was extremely small. There was a big walk-in closet in the hallway that would be good for storage. I like the bathroom because there was no tub. In the corner of the bathroom was a shower. If the kitchen was a little bigger, I probably would give it a five star rating.

UPDATE: they DO NOT keep the parking lots up for the elderly. I have fallen already. I signed the lease on May 22nd and was so excited to move in here Love it here it's just beautiful well kept and maintained The grounds are gorgeous the wildlife you see all the time is gorgeous the people are amazing. BUT after my lease was signed my first experience with the manager was extremely unprofessional. I had a question so I went up to the office The sign said 9:00 and it was 8, but the door is open now I'm new so I popped in and said I see the sign says 9 but the door is open, I said I need to learn the In-N-Outs and she said we open at 9:00 so I said would you like me to come back she says no how can I help you so I proceeded to ask her the question she took my head off. I was treated like an errant child. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL .Now as much as I love living here do I really want to live under management that's going to treat me this way. The sirpy sweet until you sign the lease and then you need to watch your back. So this is the kind of treatment I'm going to be receiving for the rest of my Twilight years I don't know if this is where it's going to be. So as beautiful as this place is it's hard to live somewhere and not be respected and treated with consideration. I hope you find this Google review helpful in your decision making.

In the 1950's and 1960's, this building was a Catholic elementary boys military boarding school. Had some great memories there in 3rd thru 8th grade there (1958-1964), several years after my parents got divorced. I understand that it was transformed into a senior living residence in the 70's, as it became cost prohibitive for many Catholic parents and experienced a serious decrease in enrollment. I remember hearing bats up in the central "castle towers" many dark nights!

What an amazing old building! Great architecture and vintage details. Built in the early 1900's the building is being restored to its former glory. Winding marble staircases, coffered ceilings and beautiful leaded glass windows, still intact. The apartments are clean and modern, with warm wooden floors, and carpeted bedrooms. A gem for 55+ residents on a fixed income. The sales staff is accommodating and patient. A must see for any senior looking to down size!
