I truly look forward to writing this review. I can confidently say you can leave your fears at the door of this beautiful, warm, caring place. From the management to the staff, each have the same enduring quality of truly caring for anyone in this home. Anytime I have conversations and concerns, they are addressed and I see first hand that my parents' happiness in the memory care unit. My parents were pretty new with high demands. They loved singing and are musical. The memory care unit strived to give them both their instruments, their outdoor walks, their music they were used to and many more things to help them transition. I have much more to say, but believe me when I say, You won't go wrong. Your loved ones are sincerely in the best hands!

The Norfolk Veterans Home goes above and beyond to give its residents a good quality of life. They get their residents out and about, attend to their medical needs, keep my family member safe, and taken care of while acknowledging their individuality and need for independence and respect. I HIGHLY recommend this facility to any individuals or family members who may be fortunate enough to receive their services. Thank you to the staff and to the residents who gave their lives in service wither directly or through family members.

The lady working the front desk answering phone calls Saturday 11/27, was very rude. I’m from out of state and I was trying to visit my grandpa before I left. I just called to see what the visiting policy was because I know it’s different everywhere. She answered the phone very rudely, and was talking to me like I was a child. She told me I needed an appointment and I asked when can I make an appointment. She then asked me when I was leaving and said the earliest I can see him is the day after I leave?? I’ve heard nothing but good things about this facility but after this encounter, I’m thinking otherwise.
