This place is horrible. State should close the facility. Not a clean place. A very close relative of mine was placed there and he was treated very bad. When I was visiting, the call light was pushed because he had to go to the restroom and needed assistance. After 30 minutes, I went to find someone asking them to help. Then finally after another 10 minutes or so, staff member showed up. My mother asked if they could not see or hear the call light. Staff member jumped all over my mother saying they were short staffed and that she, the staff member, was not going to tolerate mother speaking to her in the that spoken tone. I was furious to say the least. And to top it off, COVID was rapid at this facility and after family member was moved to hospital, most of his personal items went missing. Never, never place anyone in this facility. I don't expect a response. I don't need an apology nor do I care for one!

Our father was at NNH from last fall until his recent death. We have had much experience with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehab. units, and Nodaway is an exceptionally wonderful care facility that is clean and has staff that provide professional and personal tender loving care to residents. They supported our father, as well as his entire family and friends, with respect and attention through his last days. We cannot be more grateful or have more respect for the staff and the facility at Nodaway.
