Very welcoming facility! Went to visit my aunt while she was here for rehabilitation to home! The staff were friendly, the meal I had while there tasted good and dinner conversation with her table mates was fun to watch! Residents seem to be genuinely happy and I’m so thankful for the care my aunt received before going home!

My mom has been a resident at this nursing home for a few years now and has received nothing but the best care. She resides on the dementia unit. The nurses and aids are fantastic, the food is great and she gets wonderful therapy. I would recommend this place to anyone.

At the beginning of the year, my brother spent 10 days in the hospital, and it quickly became clear that living alone was no longer safe or practical for him. Making that decision and the transition from completely independent living to a skilled nursing facility was a challenge, emotionally and physically for both him and his siblings. We had only a few days to come to terms with the decision, tour all the skilled nursing facilities, and make the arrangements. We are blessed to come from a smaller town where there are a number of really good facilities to choose from, but one really stood out for us - Maryville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. On the phone, staff were warm and kind and when we arrived to take a tour and ask questions, we were met with a welcoming committee including the executive director and the director of nursing. They patiently listened to our story, asked pertinent questions, and were able to address our fears and concerns. They made sure he was put in a room close to the nurses’ station to ease our minds, made all the arrangements for transportation from the hospital in St. Joe, and answered our questions, sometimes a couple of times, as they came up over the next few days. The aides were especially patient and kind, giving space for my brother to deal with the roller coaster of feelings from fear and anger to frustration and sadness and not taking it personally when those feelings were sometimes directed toward them. They are skilled and compassionate, and I can’t thank them enough for all they do. Every staff member we’ve encountered clearly puts residents first. My brother’s quality of life has improved significantly, and he has settled in far more quickly than we ever expected. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care he is receiving. There are not enough stars to reflect our appreciation, but Maryville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center truly earns 5 out of 5 stars.
