My father in law who's a disabled Vietnam vet went there for a brief respite care came home sick and incredibly filthy. They did NOT give him water or any fluids to drink, they did not bathe him or clean him properly. They didn't give him his high blood pressure medicine, his blood thiners or place his c-pap on him at bedtime. He was there for 4 days and only received his blood thinners after my mom in law pointed it out to them and it still was a struggle to get him his medication. He came home soaking wet and dried feces was on him. His skin was scalded from sitting in urine for so long. My father in law was in overall good health when he went in and he came out sick. He's now been admitted into the hospital with a UTI. This man served his country and is now vulnerable. How many other vets and older people need to get sick before this nursing home gets evaluated and forced to step up their care.
