I have been very Pleased our family chose Newton Presbyterian Manor for my loved one. They’ve been welcomed with open arms by the staff and residential community. They are treated with respect, kindness, professionalism, and deep care by staff and residence alike. They’re part of the independent living community and loves the freedom and security it offers with a cozy on campus apartment and our family loves that it also offers pendant style jewelry, and in apartment call lights in case of emergency. We have greater peace of mind, knowing she can live her best life – as she certainly is – with safety at the touch of a button if needed. The staff know them by name, show intentionality in care and know our family as well. The chapel ann additional faith based services are a real blessing & were a drawing feature when choosing NPM! I’ve found NPM to be very welcoming to family advocacy, and being a team player in the health of our loved ones! And while we have seen a number of staff turnover, NPM has continued to instill confidence in us through continuity of excellence in care, kindness, and showing up with love and compassion for my loved ! I highly recommend this community, it’s been a beautiful Blessing for our family, Not without need for continued advocacy always for your family member, & willingness to work as a team with the staff, But super grateful we chose them as my loved one’s never been happier,

My momma has been living here now just over a year. She loves it! I had to make the hard decision a couple years ago to put her in an assisted living facility and the first one I chose was very hard on her. It was a Home Plus facility in Wichita and she was very unhappy. Mom fell at that home and needed rehab. This facility was on her list, and her sister currently lives in Newton. I felt like it was meant to be. I am so happy we made that move.

Mom was well cared for, having people to look after her who really cared for her. From the administration on down, the people of Newton Presbyterian Manor showed her love and compassion. The nurses and other health care professionals know their business, and we had an overall positive experience trusting Mom to their care.
