About Wichita Presbyterian Manor

Wichita Presbyterian Manor is a faith-based, not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Wichita, Kansas, operated by Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (PMMA). Set on a 13-acre campus, the community offers a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. Independent living residents gain priority access to all levels of care as their needs change.

The community is built around choice, encouraging residents to live at their own pace while offering support to enhance independence and assistance to foster comfort and security. Independent living is offered through The Westerly, where residences include a patio or balcony. Assisted living and memory care are provided with customized lifestyles, and couples may live together in The Cypress Memory Care, with second-person fees applying.

Assisted living is designed to support residents in living the way they want, with help for tasks such as housework or bathing while residents maintain active social lives and set their own daily schedules in private apartments. Long-term care serves seniors living with chronic health conditions who need more hands-on assistance from a dedicated caregiver.

Amenities and programs described include a bistro with menu selections and home-made desserts, a pool and exercise classes, scheduled monthly activities, bus trips, and enrichment programs such as Art for the Ages. The community incorporates Christian values throughout, reflecting PMMA's mission to provide quality senior services guided by those values.

Pets are welcome in independent living, with dogs, cats, birds, and fish allowed upon approval and a $500 non-refundable pet fee. Pets are not permitted to live in assisted living but may visit at any time. The community does not accept Medicaid in assisted living but is licensed to accept Medicaid-approved residents in long-term care, with most such beds filled internally by residents moving through the continuum of care.

This is such a friendly and welcoming place! Both the staff and residents are so helpful and delightful. There are lots of activities if you want to participate. They have wonderful physical therapy and many choices for room accommodations. I like the fact that continuing care is part of the building and residents go back and forth between buildings for certain social activities. It was an excellent choice.

Words cannot express our experience with Wichita Presbyterian Manor! From the facility to all the staff, our stay there was WONDERFULLY UNFORGETTABLE. It was such a blessing and relief to receive the care and attention from everyone there during our time of recovery and healing. Every aspect of this facility gave me confidence and trust in the care that was provided. Thank you Amy Watson, JD Martinez and all the amazing staff for making "The Head of Our Family" feel loved and cherished during her recovery journey. Wichita Presbyterian Manor is incredible and is a PERFECT example of how to provide rehabilitation and healthcare with patience, kindness and professionalism. BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL! EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED! In your time of need, please look no further than Wichita Presbyterian Manor.

I wanted to live here when the time was right. After my wife died with cancer , I was ready to move. I came to get a brochure to learn more. I met Lisa Fetter, a true professional, who gave me a tour and detailed the operation and entry process. After seeing an available 2-room unit in Independent Living and having a piece of pie, I signed the contract. I have been here for a little over a year and am happy to call W.P.M. my home. The facility is organized for senior living, the staff are professional and caring, and I don’t have to cook and appreciate the food and service. I am happy and active. I still work some and have various volunteer opportunities. I appreciate the freedom to come and go as I desire. As part of the W.P.M. family, I know as I need extra help and care it is here. Thanks to all involved. My Lord led me here and I am proud to call W.P.M. my home and recommend it without reservation!

Lisa was kind, very helpful, and always readily available to answer any questions. She made us feel like we would be welcome residents. She made us feel very “warm and special.” A great communicator!

It's a calm nice place to live. We appreciate being able to bring our loving companion Scamp to live with us here. What drew us to WPM was the continuum of care should we ever need additional services; we can get everything we need here.
