We just feel so fortunate to have a place for my cousin at KCH. He said he felt at home his first night there, could there be a better feeling??
The staff is amazing, I always worry about bothering the Home Health Supervisor and she is always suggesting new ways KCH can help my cousin live his best life. Like PT, which he loves, and laundry service, which he is working diligently to avoid. He genuinely feels loved by the many people that engaged in taking care of him. The medical folks are generous with their time and concern, he is charmed by how much "they worry about (him)". For me this means, if he should need to move into the rehabilitation ward, he has support from people he trusts. My cousin is most delighted when the maintenance "bros" come in. He brews coffee and talks those ears off! They are chat back with him and include him in their plans, just like the old days.
The buildings are well experienced but updated professionally and they happily make adjustments for their residents. His apartment is wonderful! Comfortable, quiet, and stylish.

KCH has lovely residence amenities, and a culture that feels like he is being cared for by friends.
