Consider looking elsewhere for your family. Poorly kept community. Mold hiding and growing. Management is a joke. The administrator uses ChatGPT to write all her emails. Recently lost good nurses and other managers and it just seems like they don’t truly care about you or your family. Do your research before making this your first choice.

I’d give negative stars if I could….<br><br>I am deeply disturbed by what I personally witnessed at New Perspective Senior Living in Sun Prairie, particularly in memory care. As a medical professional—and, more importantly, as a family member with a loved one living there—I have serious concerns about the safety, dignity, and quality of care provided.<br><br>Our family lives three to five hours away, so we trusted the facility to provide the care he needed. That did NOT happen. When we recently removed him from NP, it was clear that he had not bathed in quite some time and likely had not changed his clothes for weeks. He required our complete assistance with bathing and personal hygiene.<br><br>The facility explained that because he said he was fine and could do everything himself, staff allowed him to do so without providing assistance. This is memory care. Residents may not recognize their own needs or be able to care for themselves, which is why they require attentive, proactive support. In my opinion, his condition reflected neglect and was completely inexcusable. And that’s just one of the MANY issues we encountered and experienced.<br><br>Staff did not appear adequately trained or equipped to meet the complex needs of memory care residents. Leadership was equally disappointing, with poor communication, limited accountability, and concerns too often met with excuses rather than meaningful action. We are removing our family member because our trust and confidence in this facility have been completely broken.<br><br>The building may appear beautiful on the outside, but a beautiful building does not equal quality care. Families should look beyond appearances, ask difficult questions, observe the care being provided, and pay close attention to how concerns are handled.<br><br>Our loved ones deserve safe, compassionate, competent, and attentive care. That does NOT happen here.

I’ve worked in and had many clients who reside in senior living communities across Dane county. New Perspective Sun Prairie looks like a beautiful hotel outside, but when you enter - it feels like a home. Smiling faces, names remembered, laughs & pleasantries heard from the entryway and beyond. It’s a pleasure to know and interact with the residents and staff here!

This company lies to your face and goes behind authorized caretakers backs getting signatures from dementia patients for things they don’t understand. They also don’t put in proper medicine orders. Loose your lease as well and do a crappy job cleaning apartments. If you have a loved one who needs palliative care and needs house keeping do NOT spend 6-8k a month here. This place is basically just scamming old folks out of their retirement funds and doing less than the bare minimum. This place looks fantastic from the outside and the amenities lure you in. Only to take all the money and do 1/10th of the job they should be doing. This is a HORRIBLE company and I am glad we are taking our loved ones else where after they have lived here for a few years with crappy care!<br><br>Update for the one responding: we have already dealt with management as well as lawyers with your company. You never follow through and it is a disgrace what you do to those who cannot do for themselves. Shame on this company and its staff!

Very wonderful caring staff. Mother loves her apartment and she's very happy with the food.
