Lilian is very caring and deeply cares for her clients. She is a registered nurse and is very knowledgeable about physical and emotional needs of her clients. She also develops a personal relationship with them and us. Willing to go the extra mile

Our family trusted New Era Assisted Living to care for my uncle for about a year and a half. Unfortunately, our experience during the final months of his life was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking. As his health declined, he was moved to another home because we were told he would receive more one-on-one care. Despite those assurances, his condition continued to worsen. When I became concerned and insisted he be sent to the hospital, doctors discovered he was severely dehydrated, malnourished, and had multiple stage 4 pressure sores. Our family had never been informed that his condition had deteriorated to this extent. When I asked Lillian why these serious issues had not been communicated to us, she simply replied, “I didn’t know.” That response was devastating and unacceptable. My uncle passed away just two weeks later. While I understand that not every illness or death can be prevented, families deserve timely communication and compassionate, attentive care. We were denied both. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility for anyone whose loved one requires a higher level of care at any point. I hope our family’s experience encourages improvements so that no one else has to endure what we did.

My sister with down syndrome lives at New Era and has for 10 years. She has always been treated with the upmost care. They are wonderful to her. They keep her involved in activities and she is in amazing health! They home cook three complete meals a day and are very attentive and caring.
