Murietta Gardens has been wonderful for my mom, who has been there for six months so far and continues to get better. Erin and Isaiah worked closely with me and hospital staff during her transition from the hospital to ensure nothing was overlooked. I was actually out one day with my mom and the receptionist, who is so thoughtful, called me and asked if my mom would be back by dinner so they would make sure to set a place for her. Leslie is so thorough. Mom‘s previous facility would ding you $11 (additional for each meal delivered) just to walk a tray down the hall to her room if she didn’t feel like, or was unable to go to the dining area, But that’s not the case here. Staff is great.

The facility and staff at Murrietta Gardens have been phenomenal. From the director of the facility all the way to the folks in the kitchen, they have all been excellent. Taking the time to walk me through next steps in planned or unplanned meetings, sending pictures of Mom at activities to me for my family, giving counsel and letting me know that Mom is loved by everyone. I find the facility to be well kept and inviting during whatever time I come to visit Mom. Even during times when Mom has been a bit of a challenge they have treated her with respect and consulted me with the best plan of action. When we had challenges with hospice they fought for the care Mom deserved and needed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

We initially found Murrieta Gardens to be a pleasant and well-maintained facility during our tour. The residents appeared happy and healthy, and the staff seemed attentive and caring. Although it was the most expensive option we considered, we decided to place our mother in their care. However, following the facility's sale, we observed a significant decline in the quality of care. The walls became dirty, wallpaper was missing in some areas, and the carpet had noticeable stains. Furthermore, the staff turnover rate was alarming. We also observed that the residents seemed lethargic. During an unannounced visit, we found one caregiver supervising approximately 30 patients while they were gathered in the common area. When we inquired about the whereabouts of the other caregivers, the employee appeared sheepish and admitted they were all on break simultaneously. We were disturbed by this revelation. Additionally, when we discovered our mother sitting in wet pants, the staff provided inconsistent explanations, suggesting it might have been from her Ensure drink at breakfast or after dinner. Given the late hour of 6:30 pm, these explanations seemed implausible, especially since dinner is typically served before 5:30 pm. This incident was the final straw, and we promptly relocated our mother to a different facility. Although we were required to provide a month's notice and paid for an additional month, we prioritized her well-being over contractual obligations. Notably, within 24 hours of her transfer, our mother began using utensils to eat and started verbalizing again, even recognizing distant family members. Based on our experience, we advise families to exercise caution and conduct regular visits if they choose Murrieta Gardens. Given the current management, we have serious concerns about the facility's ability to provide adequate care.

This facility has been a God send to our family. My mother was previously in a higher level of care facility SNF unit in LA when she was moved to a lower level of care memory care,Murietta Gardens. You would think the SNF unit "higher level of care" would be better for demtia patients right? Wrong, they dont care as much or have the heart for their patients like a memory care facility. I was skeptical at first, I wondered what the catch was and why they wanted to move my mom to a lower level of care when I felt she needed the most. Murietta gardens has gotten my mom on regular medication, she is calmer than when is a SNF unit and has adjusted well. This is due to her doctor's and staff at the facility. The staff is always the same almost every weekend I go. Erin is great in watching over my mom, talking to her and hanging out. Mercedes is caring not just with my mom but all of the patients. Kylee has always helped me through stressful issue, like insurance, doctors visit, ect. John and Leland seem to always be in the kitchen cooking for the residents and I am so greatful for there time. Ive even seen john dance, and run to ambulances to say goodbye to the residence if they need to go to hospital. The staff is very warm and caring to the patience. There is no perfect place to place a loved one. They will all have there downfalls and short comings but I believe Murietta Gardens really tries to take care of their members. To all of the staff I may not have mentioned or even remember your name,I am so greatful to all of you for being there for our elderly population. I see how hard you all work and I know it's not an easy job. I appriciate every single one of you for being in this industry.

I just want to share my heartfelt appreciation for Murrieta Gardens and the incredible staff that go above and beyond every single day. I’ve read a few reviews that didn’t match my experience at all, and I feel compelled to speak up. Brittany has been a Godsend her leadership, compassion, and communication are everything you’d want when trusting someone with your loved one. She literally held my hand through the entire process, and I can say the same for Kylie, who has always been kind, responsive, and professional. The care and cleanliness of the facility and my loved one’s room are always on point. It smells clean, it feels peaceful, and it shows in the patients’ appearance and mood. The activities are well organized and engaging, and I often drop by at different times because of my hectic schedule. Every time I’m greeted warmly and feel reassured that my loved one is in good hands. When I have questions (and I ask a lot!), Brittany and Kylie never make me feel like a burden they respond right away and always follow up. This place has truly lifted a weight off my shoulders. I’m already planning a holiday thank-you for the staff because they’ve given me something priceless: peace of mind. I feel blessed to have found Murrieta Gardens.
