Independent Living

Your apartment home serves as the perfect retreat after a full day of exploring everything city living has to offer, or the perfect gathering place for family and friends. Independent living residents at Murano Senior Living choose from spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments in a stunning 24-story community. We also offer penthouse suites boasting panoramic views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Cascade Mountains, and downtown Seattle. Apartment kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, a full-size refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. Select apartments also have washers and dryers and balconies. With thoughtful attention given to color and design, Murano Senior Living apartments maximize natural light, a perfect intersection of comfort, luxury, and class.

Assisted Living

That’s why we offer flexible assisted living services that can be added at any time, in any apartment. With extensive assisted living care options ranging from dining assistance to medication management and more, the staff at Murano Senior Living has your back around the clock.

For those requiring the highest level of assistance, Murano Senior Living has a dedicated dining room, living room, and amenity spaces on the third floor. We have everything you’d expect — medication assistance, showering and bathing, dressing, personal appearance and hygiene, care coordination, mobility assistance, health maintenance, and cognitive support.

Assisted living fees are in addition to the monthly rent and are based upon an assessment of individual needs and preferences. Our staff will conduct an evaluation of services on a regular basis and as needed.

Assisted Living Services and Amenities

Murano Senior Living offers seven customizable levels of care to meet the needs of our residents. Level one starts at $1,500 and includes the following:

•    Three meals daily
•    Complimentary snacks
•    Weekly housekeeping and linen service
•    Local scheduled transportation
•    All utilities (except private telephone)
•    Social and recreational programs
•    Routine apartment maintenance
•    Laundry services available and washers/dryers in most apartments
•    24-hour emergency communication system
•    Daily resident check
•    Coordination of care and oversight of well-being
•    Full-time RN on staff to direct and oversee care team
•    Staff available 24-hours a day
•    Access to temporary and unscheduled services from care team

Residents are assessed on a regular basis throughout their residency, and care needs and costs are adjusted as needed.

Memory Care

As you very well know, when a loved one is challenged with dementia the entire family is challenged. It’s difficult to adjust, there is no doubt. So, let us start by saying we understand. Let us also say that we’ve found that sometimes the hardest part is simply asking for help. We are your partners in dementia care. When emotions run high and family dynamics run deep, we are here to relieve the stress.

We think you’ll find Opal, our signature memory care program, to be profoundly helpful. Comprehensive, thoughtful, and balanced, Opal has seven pillars of wellness that ensure a holistic approach to care.

Our specialized memory care community offers spacious private studio suites as well as neighbor suites. At Murano Senior Living, we understand that each individual’s experience with dementia is unique and services are regularly evaluated to ensure that we are meeting each resident’s individual needs. Memory care services include oversight and cuing from staff to complete activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and meal support; physical assistance from staff; bathing and hygiene assistance; escorts to meals and activities; medication management; and general oversight of health and well-being.

Here, it’s all about getting to know each person, drawing on his or her life story, and giving meaning and purpose to each new day. With help, you may just find that “family” happens again.
