I’ve never Seen such an abhorrent and disgusting neglected facility. My brother has no other options than to stay there. He’s Got leukemia and Epilepsy and diabetes, which requires nursing care. Yet they have let him be unbathed, unshaven and unfed. We are at wits end trying to figure out what to do about it. Should they be reported and who do you report it to? And each time we try to call him the weight is about 10 or 15 minutes and sometimes you don’t never get through.

Our Mother has been a patient at Mountian View Nursing Home since the first of Feburary 2023. My family has found it to have excellent, caring people. We have had our Mother in two other facilities which were totally unacceptable. Mountian View has been such a blessing to us for the excellent care and compassion they have show our 98 year old Mother. Thank you so much. Dorothy Tyson's Family.

Hospice sent my mother here for respite care the first week of October 2018. She is 87 and because of colon cancer, has chronic diarrhea which she cannot control. She is wheelchair bound and wears Depends. When she had a bowel movement, she rang the bell for help.No one came. She rang several times. Still no one came. So she started yelling for help and her room mate went out to find someone to help her. When they came in-she told my mother yelling would not be tolerated. By this time my mother was upset and crying. She was told they only had 2 people per hall to handle 30 patients and just because she was on Hospice, she would receive no special treatment-that normally they only changed a patient twice a day -once in the morning and once in the evening. How ridiculous is that! Also,my mom who is a retired nurse herself and used to work in a nursing home, said to the lady that brings her food tray one day, "I am a feeder because my hands shake so bad that when I bring the spoon or fork up to my mouth, all the food has fallen off of it." The lady looked at her and made a face and went out in the hallway and said to someone out there, "Ms. Thang in there thinks we're supposed to feed her!" In addition, my mother was playing Bingo the day they offered it and someone came in and said, "What are you doing in here?" and wheeled her back to her room and told her that because she had misbehaved, she was not allowed to participate in any of the activities they offered there. I would not recommend my dog to stay there. They are cold-hearted and have no compassion. Oh and I forgot to mention, when they did send her home, she had dried poop on the back of her legs!

My stepmom was proud of being there for my dad, but it was a trying time. Life became complicated for her and my family much faster than anyone anticipated. Our dad had been in his last stages of Alzheimer's disease for a while. It was frustrating to witness my dad's health get worse and frightening to think of placing him into a nursing home. It's with that in mind I'd like to share some of the kind attention that the staff of Mountain View Health Care Center had giving to our dad. They gave our dad quality of care they showed a lot of patience to our dad as well to our stepmom. The staff was very professional and it was the best environment we could have placed him in, other than being at home. Thank You, to the staff of Mountain View Health Care Center for the excellent care you gave to our dad. Knowing that our dad was in such good hands brought a sense of peace to our stepmom as well to our entire family. We will never forget you kindness, The family of Mr. Huffman,

Fabulous staff, incredible experience during a very hard time. We lost my father today, a resident of Mountain View. The staff went out of their way to not only make his transition easier, but they were extremely attentive to our needs as a grieving family. They took exceptional care of him; his room was always spotless and he was well groomed. They adjusted his food as his health began to fail. I would highly recommend this facility.
