Mountain Valley Manor

Mountain Valley Manor is a licensed adult care facility in Kingston, New York, offering residential services for seniors. The twenty-two thousand square foot facility houses 51 residents and is situated near local hospitals, allowing residents to remain close to family and friends in the mid-Hudson region.

The community provides compassionate care through a staff organized into six departments dedicated to resident wellness. On-site medical services include visiting physicians available weekly, Dr. Elaine Lindgren on Wednesdays and Dr. Joel Mandelbaum on Tuesdays, with an in-house doctor's office for routine care and emergency appointments available at their local Kingston offices. Additional health services include an in-house podiatrist and limited lab specimen collections through a partnership with LabCorp and phlebotomist Katherine Higgins.

Activities form a core part of life at Mountain Valley Manor, with a full-time Activities Director and assistants creating a program of social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual engagement. Residents enjoy Friday cocktail hours, interactive music and dance classes, semi-weekly shopping trips, strength and balance classes, arts and crafts, yoga for seniors, and lunches at local restaurants. The facility features in-house bocce and shuffleboard courts, a golf putting green, and organizes trips to museums and concerts in the park.
