My grandmother is a resident there now and hasn't had anything bad to say about it which is very surprising coming from her. The nurses and staff all seem very nice and are helpful and understanding. The grounds are also very nice and bucolic.

My aunt spent time here in rehab for a broken hip. Everyone was caring, compassionate and supportive of the whole family. Food was great and always good choices. Rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. Great PT and OT, staff very caring and supportive of my aunt’s needs.

Very friendly staff in an old building. First Floor Rehab facility is excellent - OT/PT staff is fabulous & very caring, and there is plenty of staff on that floor. If your loved one is Catholic, this place is very Catholic - pretty much daily Mass or communion is available. The available activities are great too - functions on every floor, and the activities staff know everyone's name & personality. The Third Floor locked, memory care ward is what you would expect - lots of different characters in various stages of dementia, but the staff there is also very friendly & caring. They likely need some additional nursing staff on that floor though. There is a lot of, metaphorically-speaking, "fires being put out" by the staff there. So, if your loved one needs extra care, they will likely get it. If your loved one is pretty independent, relatively-speaking, they might be more on their own - though no one that I saw was neglected. Showers provided on the First Floor were excellent, but the ones given on the Third Floor seemed to lack some attention to detail.

Mount St. Rita came through for our family during a very difficult time. Maryellen was exceeding informative and kind answering questions while trying to find an acute rehab facility for my aunt with Alzheimer’s who broke her hip. She made the choice easy, and the nurses, CNA’s and PT/OT staff were amazing. They felt like family during her stay. My aunt was treated with respect and they understood her physical and cognitive limitations, and met her needs. She quickly went from bed bound to cruising the halls! The activities and Catholic community added to her experience. Within a few days the staff knew us by name and made the family feel welcome and supported. The Mount is a special place with skilled professionals and supportive clinicians. Thanks you
