I broke my right ankle and spent 12 days at Morgantown Health Care Center! I had a private room and couldn’t have been more pleased with the services they provided. The food was wonderful, everyone kind and friendly, and they attended to my every need! I was especially impressed with the Physical Therapy Department! I can’t say enough about how great they treated me. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I can honestly say that I could never have managed being at home without their help. Thank you, wonderful therapy staff, and, also, everyone, who helped me survive one of the most traumatic events of my 79 years! Rebecca J. Bebout Flack

My husband has been on a year long cancer journey that has taken a toll on his mobility. PT Therapist Chris is second to none. He is very motivating and celebrates the success with the clients. I am happy we were able to get him in here.

My husband was there for short term stay for respite care through hospice. He is stroke patient. For some reason, my son who visited every day, had to tell 4 different people who came in to care for him, that he had a stroke. One day he went in and as soon as he walked in, he heard my husband yelling ( he is not confused ) in his room half way down the hall. The staff ( nurses? CNA's? ) were sitting at the nurses station eating breakfast.....he had to ask twice for someone to help as he just received a blank stare from them. One said she couldn't understand him.....which I'm sure is true but you have to try to figure it out! Not just leave him yelling!! There are other thing I can say but, you get the idea.

We want to thank everyone in memory care, especially Stephanie and Latoya, and all of the staff that took care of my sister Connie Sue during her time here. We also want to thank everyone from the front office, Melody, Chris, and the rest of the ladies for everything that they have done while taking care of everything related to my sister's care, from paperwork to other related matters. Everyone was caring, kind, and professional. They were there when we needed them and we appreciate their attention to my sister.

My husband had a very unexpected stroke at only 58 years old. Although he is a tricky case being so young in a facility like this, they take wonderful care of him! He seems very happy and looked after there. I have not ever had any issues with the staff or indeed the other residents. They are very kind (and patient!) and also take part in helping to cheer and look after my husband as if he was family. I am so thankful that there is a place like this to help out in a difficult time. They provide lovely activities and social events for residents that are integral to promoting mental health and morale. Im happy with them in what is undoubtedly a tough responsibility.
