We have lived at Mission Square for three years and never regretted our decision. The facility is beautiful and extremely well maintained. Evening meals are available Monday-Thursday with pick-up lunch on Fridays. The menu offers many selections, and Chef Heather accommodates dietary restrictions or preferences. Dinners are a fun way to get acquainted with others at tables of 8 or 4.

The best thing about the community is the people who live or work here and the mostly resident-driven activities. We have lots of weekly games, a chorus, a samba band, impromptu and planned happy hours, exercise classes, bistro night entertainment and more!

Not only is Mission Square Senior Living a beautiful place to live, the residents here are extremely friendly and caring. This is one of very few senior living places that has underground parking, which is extremely beneficial in the winter. The facility is close to many shops and restaurants and other places to visit. As the facility’s podiatrist, I’ve been enjoying treating the wonderful residents that live here and learning about their life’s journey.
The executive director and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. 5 Stars to Mission Square!

My husband and I moved to Mission Square shortly after the building opened. It was great to be part of a group of residents that watched and lived in a community coming to life. The excellence of the building, staff and residents is still in place and practice 13 years later.

The internal workings of Mission Square are unique from most senior independent living facilities. We buy our apartments (we call them our “homes”) and thus become stakeholders in a not-for-profit structure. When you no longer need your home, it is sold for you. Our Board of Directors consists of residents, elected by fellow residents. Our Executive Director is hired by the Board to manage the staff and run the facility. Two of the unusual and outstanding amenities are rrrrour climate controlled basement garage, which also includes spacious floor-to-ceiling storage units for each apartment. Our Dining Room is headed by a culinary trained chef and we employ full-time, onsite maintenance. Our activities are many and varied, including music, games, discussion and poetry groups, movies, exercise, happy hour and more.

There is truly a neighborhood feeling at Mission Square. Its smaller size allows us to very quickly become acquainted with each other, and it feels like family. Everyone is welcome at Mission Square.
