I’m not so impressed. I was trying to reach a client for a while. She’s old and doesn’t know how to use her phone and there’s no one to help her. Her own kids have busy lives so I try to check on her but no one answers and if they do they don’t tell me anything…

We visited 6 Assisted Living facilities in Ocean County, and we chose Mira Vie IN Toms River for our Mom. Sunny and the rest of the staff have been awesome. Our Mom feels right at home and spends very little time in her room, preferring the activity and fellowship of the large “open area”. Mom is very happy with the food and variety of options. She also takes advantage of the many daily activities offered, of which there are many; crafts, chair yoga, movies in the theater, entertainment in the “great room” and attending Sunday church service. She also just enjoys just sitting with others in the “great room” to just watch TV together. We are extremely happy that she is no longer isolated at home alone and know that we couldn’t have found a better place for Mom’s next adventure!

If you’re reading this post, you may be in the process, as I, finding an assisted living facility for a loved one. Mira Vie Toms River is an exceptional community to consider. I’ve toured this warm place , handheld by their representative “ Sunny”. The name describes her countenance, as well as the staff and the surroundings, noting, also, the vibe from the residents themselves. Enough said. Make an appointment. I’m finding it hard to get the loved one onboard such an enormous change, but Sunny, and don’t be surprised, is more than willing to help you find a way to appease all. Ask for Sunny. She’s an asset to us all. You’ll breathe easier just conversing with this lovely human being. Good luck. M.McL

UPDATE-<br>My Mom has now been here for over 5 years and is still going strong. This place is still as good as the first day she moved in. I want to give a special shout out to the Director of Health and Wellness D'Ann Black. She is available to answer all of my questions and concerns about my Mom's health and even pro-actively reaches out to let me know when and how things were taken care of and resolved so I don't have to worry. This place is still 5 stars in my book.<br><br>My Mom has been at The Chelsea at Toms River for 2 1/2 years now. The management staff and the medical staff there is excellent. They are always available to help you with any problems you might have. There are plenty of activities for the residents to keep them busy if they wish to participate. The rooms are quite large and have a large kitchenette and a large bathroom. They have primary care doctors that will see you in house, in house physical therapy, a movie theater, a hair salon, an activities room and a large bistro with a large TV and lots of seating for socializing. The back patio has two overhead gazebos so you can sit out there in most kinds of weather. Also out in the back patio they have a vegetable garden. It is a clean, beautiful place and they try to do their very best to take care of their residents. I highly recommend it.
