My sister at a young age 52 years. Was at Midwest Convenient Home. Here’s some examples of what she endured. She pushed the button to go to the restroom. They did not come. When they finally arrived, she told them she couldn’t wait 40 Plus minutes. The response she got was just pee in your pants. Then a week later, she had been weak, but she pushed herself down the hall in her wheelchair, and I videoed it and we were celebrating. We were showing the nurse -she said she didn’t care. I asked again, same response. I had to leave. I was so upset. I love my sister and the pain she endured by continued negative treatment to her was horrible. Yes some cared and were loving. But they knew about the abusive help and did not relieve them of employment. We we’re hoping she could get strong enough to leave there. My husband and I told her she could live with us, never got the chance. She was gone a few days later. Negative attitude when you’re struggling, only develops negative results. It would be easier to not say anything. My sister loved helping others… choose somewhere other than Midwest. They have forgotten the Bible says to Love one another.

Staff were VERY helpful. First Lady took me to supervisor who would know who I was looking for, and that lady stopped what she was doing and guided me across entire bldg to the Nurse I needed to speak to! Top notch personable care.
