A great place for short term or long term care for a loved one. My grandmother stayed here for a respite stay and the team did a wonderful job caring for her. Highly recommend!

My days at Medilodge of Shoreline was not perfect but any issue I had was taken care of by Deb Wiles, the Director of Nursing. Other issues included the stationary bike that I was able to ride was broken about a year of the two years that I was a resident there. I moved to a group home about a month ago. As I was waiting for status on my power chair that I thought was sent for insurance approval, I just found out that the head physical therapy, Nicole, never told me that her evaluation was never submitted. Because of this, I have been bedridden since I left. Another issue is the specifications on the bed that I requested with Chantell, the social worker, was disregarded. With the bed that I received, I cannot touch the floor on the side of the bed and I am practically laying down to eat. I cannot use a table while I am in bed because I am in a laying position. Upon my exit, I was never approached for an exit interview. The next day, Lynette, left me a voicemail and text to contact her. I left a voicemail and text message and never received a response. I called corporate three times to file a complaint and also left a voicemail for Leon, the district manager, and no response from anyone. I am disappointed with the way I was treated. I believe I should have been treated with respect of my needs. I am frustrated and angry that I was not treated as a human as I am fully coherent. Please be aware of these issues upon becoming or a loved one becoming a resident.

It has gotten better over the past 2 years much in most departments with Activity and the dining room! The Activity department has something for us to do everyday. With prizes for participation weather you win or not. The kitchen has increased the variety of what you can choose from for what you want to eat weather it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner You are able to eat in the dining room or they will bring to your room. Activity has Bingo 5 days a week that you get a prizes for at least once a month. We all are for sure to be at the Activity room at 2:00pm Mon thru Friday . ALL times three is a live singer/perfomance,, comedian. There is not a day that goes by that goes by that we don't LAUGH!!!.. We might go from crying but something turns us around to laughing ALWAYS!& Even now the staff (nurse's, C.N.A.'s, manag P.T., even maintenance, all the way down to the people who do the admiring and discharge of people no matter where they are going...

The staff and administration is vindictive and in my case I left because when I reported abuse they treated me as if I'd done something..I would never recommend a horrible place like this..The staff will hurt you in many ways..The place is full of drama and fights..I was attacked in the dining room and they did nothing to protect me..I've moved to another facility and am treated kindly here..but id never ever send even my worst enemy here..its that bad..If you truly love the one your putting into care, then i'd seriously stay away from Medilodge of the shoreline..A lot of the residents upon being treated so cruelly have left..I cant blame them ..its a very dangerous situation.
