My 91 year old mother had been a resident in the memory care unit for almost a year. The facility is beautiful and is only a few years old. It has a cheerful atmosphere and is very comfortable. The staff members are kind, caring, and supportive. The nurses are very professional and well trained and provide excellent care. I have found them to be a valuable resource and a wealth of knowledge and have relied on them for various parts of my mom’s care. My mother enjoyed the many activities and food at Meadowview of Johnston. The hair salon was a fun and convenient place to go every week. I was very fortunate to find such an excellent facility that provided such great care. I am indeed thankful.

I’ve recently moved my mother into Meadowview of Johnston from her home in another state. The staff have been AMAZING to work with. They are understanding and caring. They follow up when they say they're going to and called to check in and see how things are going with the transition. Stefani (Director of Nursing) has been a wonderful resource and advocate for my mom. Michele (Director) answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was also a huge help in getting my mom moved here. None of my dumb and numerous questions were met with an eye rolls.<br><br>Many of my mom’s new neighbors stopped by to say hello and to see if she had any questions or needed anything.<br><br>Most of all, my mom is very excited (and one of the main reasons for choosing Meadowview) is that all the apartments are licensed for assisted living. That means - no moving apartments when she goes from Independent to assisted living. This is huge!<br><br>Overall, we are so happy to have selected Meadowview of Johnston for my mom.

Meadowview of Johnston is a lovely community. There is a wide variety of activities to meet the interests of all residents. They regularly host events for the entire family and/or community to join in the fun. The staff is a committed and caring group of individuals that truly makes Meadowview of Johnston the best community in the area!

I’m so grateful for Meadowview of Johnston (MV) and the home it has provided for my 93-year-old mother. MV strikes the perfect balance between independence and support. The smaller size of the facility means the staff all know her personally and genuinely watch out for her, while still respecting her privacy.<br><br>Mom wanted to live in her own apartment rather than a retirement community, and MV has been the ideal compromise. She has her own independent living apartment within a structured environment that provides the "guardrails" she needs. The apartment is perfectly suited to her needs—spacious enough to feel comfortable but manageable for her to maintain. Importantly, she can remain in the same apartment if she ever needs to transition to assisted living.<br><br>In the seven months she’s been there, Mom has gradually started participating in the variety of programs offered and is building a new community for herself. Seeing her settle in and thrive has been such a relief and joy. I highly recommend MV for anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-structured environment for their loved ones.
