The Meadows is definitely an improvement over places like Greenhaven Estates but there is a lot of room for improvement. The food is not good. They made a big deal about getting dietary info from my mom's Dr before she could move in.There doesn't seem to be any differentiation in whats served. The transportation to appts is not a clear cut thing like presented. There are so many criteria like certain days & times that it's not worth the effort. The good part is the place is beautiful, very clean & the care providers are lovely. Perhaps I should've opened with the positive notes. But the food thing is incredibly disappointing. My mom now wants us to bring her food she can prepare in her room. This is maddening since we're now paying 2x for food.

I really would like to thank the Meadows for the outstanding help we received with getting my dad safely situated into his new home. Zuliaka was so kind and showed my family so much compassion trying to find the best community for my dad and the staff has been so nice. If anyone reading this has been in limbo and in need of some help with deciding where to place their loved one in the greater Sacramento area, do not hesitate to reach out to meadows. Thanks again

We moved my 57 year old son into The Meadows Assisted Living, Elk Grove, a week ago. The staff provides, to the residents, a friendly, positive, joyful, environment, Residents in need of extra personal attention, receive what is needed, with a smile. It is a well kept, clean facility with lots of amenities. It is such a relief to finally have peace of mind. When a loved one must be separated from home. Into a new home! The Meadows!

Terrace and Miguel are awesome dining room servers. They have great memories for residents names and what special things each like. They are kind not only to the residents but my special needs brother and I also. No matter what is requested, they are happy to do it. The are excellent ambassadors for the meadows!! I also want to compliment Sam , the activities director on Friday and Saturday. She is patient with everyone and makes everyone feel special

I am the owner of Megan Mobile Notary. I have had countless appointments at the meadows over the years with residents and their families. I am always greeted as I come through the doors by a smiling staff. I am impressed with the amount of staff available to assist if I have any questions as well as their attentiveness to residents.
