When we arrived at Meadowbrook Care Center after months of being in and out of the hospital, we were exhausted and overwhelmed. From the very first day, the staff welcomed us with kindness, compassion, and respect. They didn’t just care for his medical needs—they cared about Paul as a person. The aides are truly the heart of Meadowbrook. They are patient, gentle, hardworking, and always treat their patients with dignity. They took the time to make him smile, encouraged him when he was feeling discouraged, and always made sure he was comfortable. Margaret, Jennifer, Daniel, Dorothy, Maya ( unit clerk) & Leslie (LPN) were all so helpful, kind and compassionate. Michael is the nurse supervisor who takes the time to effectively treat his patients & their family with knowledge & understanding. The therapy dept. especially Joe worked tirelessly with Paul to progress in his PT goals and to safely transition home. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality rehabilitation with a truly caring staff.

Thank you for the excellent care you and your staff have provided for my MIL. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. I am very impressed with everyone's attention to details that has made such a difference for her. MCC staff provides comprehensive care. Everyone works together -- Nurses, Aides, Social Workers, Therapists, Concierge, Dietary, Maintenance, Security, Recreation and the Ice Cream Shop -- with great attention to detail and kindness toward patient and family. Clean, comfortable, and cheery with strong emphasis on safety. I would not hesitate to recommend MCC for a loved one's care. Top choice.

Overall I was very happy with my stay. . The staff was helpful and friendly. However there are a few staff members who went above and beyond and deserve to be recognized for their excellence, they are Jean and Alicia in PT and OC (Scott has developed a terrific staff) Bird was outstanding as an aide and Antoinette the conceriege was very helpful . In my opinion these four employees deserve to be recognized for their excellence.

I came to Meadowbrook Care Center rehab unwillingly with trepidation of what I would experience. To my great surprise I found a beautiful facility, well lit, clean certainly not what I expected. The atmosphere is one of care and friendliness patients are greeted warmly by the staff and their needs are attended to in a timely and respectful manner. Each department does their best to make their patients feel special and cared for. Dr. Neil Jagalall Assistant Medical Director and NP Amita Patel are always available for direction and work closely with the staff and the patient to ensure patient specific care and treatment. Meadowbrook staff work well together demonstrating their satisfaction with their place of work which adds to patient comfort. Meadowbrook Care Center has much to be proud of!! Angela Moreno

Meadowbrook Care Center cared for my grandmother over 20 years ago and the staff became family. Recently, my mom stayed there for two months. She was beautifully and respectfully cared for by some of the very same staff members that took care of my grandmother so many years ago. The staff is compassionate, happy, knowledgeable, and I trusted that my mom was in good hands. Winnie, in particular, took such excellent care of my mother. Winnie is serious about her work and treats all patients with dignity and a deep respect. At the end of the two months, my mom cried saying her goodbyes to staff members whom she had come to trust and rely on. The PT and OT staff went above and beyond in caring for my mom. They did their best to build her strength up for independent living. Joanne, from 1B, also went above and beyond in looking out for my mom -even through her discharge. Joanne also worked with and remembers my grandmother. The staff retention rate at Meadowbrook Care Center speaks volumes about how the staff is treated-and how the patients are treated. Those who work there are happy to work there and I was fretted with warmth and a smile. My mom had been at another rehab where if I greeted a staff member, they instantly became defensive. That never happened at Meadowbrook. I’m grateful for the time my grandmother and mother spent there, and for the compassionate care they received.
