Had a hip replacement done and my leg stretched of 2 cm. McAlester Regional Health Center Home Care was excellent. My assigned home health Nurse was Ms. Maggie and the Physical Therapist was Ms. Sonja. Fantastic, caring folks. However, you will have to follow your surgeon's and home health provider's instructions to heal successfully. Do your exercises, eat a healthy diet to promote healing. They will instruct you, but you will have to do your part too, doing the exercises EVERY day and drinking 3-4 bottles of water or non-sweet liquid to help healing. Have been doing very well in my recovery process.

The nurses who visited me in my home were professional, friendly and caring and helped me feel comfortable with my progress after knee replacement surgery. Callie, my physical therapist was also professional, friendly and caring as she assured me that I could get back to the routines of daily living. I appreciate everything these wonderful people did for me. As of today, 3 1/2 months after total knee replacement, I am doing everything I want to do with no pain and no restrictions from my surgeon.
