Maywood Terrace Living Center is a small community based skilled nursing facility in Northwest Independence. We have an all female locked memory care unit that specializes in caring for the special needs of ladies with Alzheimers, dementia and related disorders. We also offer Skilled nursing as well as long term care. We have recently made some updates to our facility, so please come by and have a look!

At Maywood Terrace Living Center, our neighbors do not live in our workplace, we work in their homes and are blessed to do so. We offer long-term units and therapy units, each offering a variety of amenities and services. Services were provided and invoiced. Payment was not received despite repeated attempts to follow up. Communication was not successful. Filing a claim against them in court do not supply services for this facility they will not pay you. I am contacting the Division of Aging regarding an outstanding unpaid balance. The services were provided and billed, and despite multiple invoices and follow-up attempts, payment has not been received. All vendors do not supply services to this facility they will not pay you. It’s so ironic if a resident doesn’t pay their bills, they’ll give them a 30 day notice but they don’t pay their bills. I will be contacting division of aging tomorrow and our attorney to proceed with a lawsuit. Again, all vendors do not supply services to this facility. They will not pay you. We have invoices out from 2025.When there referral sources attempt to set up Transportation we will notify them that they do not pay their bills, and we will not be able to accept transportation to their facility.

There has been some significant changes from what I can see. The atmosphere has significantly improved with the new management team. The staff truly do seem to care about the residents.
