Dangerous; idiotic move getting rid of your on-site respiratory therapist at night just to save a couple bucks. Won't be going to this hospital anytime soon and will tell others to do the same

2021. Rehab department. If I could give a star 🌟 below ⬇️ a, one for the therapist there, I would. Rehab from being in st. Mary’s for three months with COVID, then up to lake city for rehab. SHE must really, really hate men. Or, she hated me the MINUTE I got out of the van I paid $ 200.00 to get to that facility. You are , MUCH better off just going home . SHE did absolutely ZERO 0️⃣ for me . Note. At st. Mary’s, doctors told me I needed more than two weeks. SHE kicked me out in two weeks. Took another two months to be able to fend for myself.

Everytime I visit Like City Mayo Clinic, the Registration & Administrative Team are so kind, courteous and professional. Today Karen scheduled my appointments & coordinated them across departments all on one visit. When I thanked her, she assured me that everyone in her team would do the same. Thank You Mayo, for employing people who make difficult things a little easier ❤️

Their providers are wonderful, however, the individuals in charge of making appointments or any other administrative task are incredibly passive aggressive, condescending and speak to you like you are wasting their time and they have much better things to do than their actual job. Like I said, the providers are absolutely wonderful, it's a shame the first individuals you encounter are so passive aggressive and disrespectful, because that destroys everything the providers work so hard to accomplish.

I moved to Lake City almost 3 years ago and have had nothing but excellent experiences with my personal care provider, Lisa Wimmer DNP and 3 or 4 sub specialists. The hardest part is figuring out how the entire Mayo system works, and that if you live in Lake City, you cannot have a primary physician in Rochester. I had a flawless total knee surgery at the Red Wing facility with Dr. M. Johnson a year ago and excellent PT in Lake City. The online site can be confusing until you figure it out. Wait times are always short and providers are seldom more than a few minutes late, if at all. Front desk staff are all friendly and very accommodating as is the person that schedules Lake City and Red Wing appointments by phone. I can’t recommend this location enough. I was at Mayo Clinic Rochester in the 70s and 80s and this has been equally satisfactory for my needs as a 73-year-old female patient.
