My background check took a month to be approved. Unclear communication. No empathy from recruiter or supervisor. Not getting off to a good start.

Maxim is far the best care that my mother who is 94 has ever received from any provider. Their team is most compassionate and caring group of nurses in the Nashville area. I’ve recommended them to many of my friends.

I can truly say Maxim Healthcare has been a blessing in my life. I didn’t even apply for this job…they found me through the Tennessee Board of Nursing database and reached out to see if I’d be interested. At that time, I wasn’t sure which direction I wanted my nursing career to go, but after praying about it, I knew this opportunity was heaven-sent. Becoming a pediatric private duty nurse with Maxim has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m able to work the schedule I want, the job is far less stressful than hospital nursing, and the pay is even better. Most importantly, this role allows me to care for other families’ children while still being present for my own. I’m so thankful to be part of a company that truly values both its nurses and the families we serve.

We have been with Maxim for over a decade now, it hasn't always been great but my five stars goes out to Telvin (coordinator), Gwen (clinical supervisor), and my daughter's main nurse Dawn. Dawn has been a faithful, dedicated, and more than a tremendous nurse, who has been by my daughter's side for over a decade now. Telvin has went above and beyond to ensure coverage, has always followed through with communications, and been transparent with any obstacles thrown at us. Gwen is the best clinical supervisor we have ever had, she always follows through with anything she says, comes after hours if need be to drop off importabt documents, makes sure any issues are handled, takes care of her nurses that work under her, and is beyond kind and thoughtful when my daughter has been hospitalized. The 3 of them keep us with Maxim. I hope Maxim ensures they are always apart of their team. We have had good coordinators before, however they moved on to other companies, I do not want that to happen to the team we have. Hopefully others will join their team so we can have full time weekend coverage!

We have some very good nurses- we've had alot to come and go. Some in the office have communication issues that need to be worked on and they need to work on getting fill in nurses- when a nurse calls in there is NEVER anyone to cover.
