This place is so unorganized!! The commutation skills are atrocious. I have had 3 different caregivers. Things have come up missing which I unpacked myself so they are not misplaced. The workers were as bad as a skilled nursing facility. You get one person that seems to be okay but they don’t show up as scheduled. I have had one good caregiver that actually works. I will not ever recommend this to anyone that I know. There has to be a better option than the help you get from here. They don’t return your phone calls and when you do get someone they have everything so jumbled up it’s hard to get fixed. Guarantee you that I would never get them to do work for me again. You really need to clean house in your office. I feel sorry for the people that don’t know how to really get help. You’re caregivers are lazy and you really need to keep an eye on your stuff.

My daughter began receiving service from maxim about 2.5 to 3 months ago. Within that time there has been more scheduling mix-ups then my wife and I can count. They have switched workers at least 6 times as their workers are either quitting the company every other week or their workers just don't show up with zero notice. The operator they give clients access to is one of the worst operators we have dealt with. She is never prepared, voicemail full, you have to repeatedly call to get her to pick up, she never has or knows any information about anything even though she is the person we call after hours with questions, she rarely calls back, never apologizes, and has absolutely no solution to anything. If you are looking for a serious company with great care-giving services for a disabled individual.. Do not sign up with this company. This is most unprofessional company a person could sign up with. My wife has emailed them multiple times and spoke with them as well and the issues are never fixed. They will also reach out to you on "google" to try and "seem" professional but they resolve nothing and continue to treat their disabled clients badly.

I hired Maxim for respite care for my autistic child. I am given 20 hrs/wk and Maxim was unable to fill the time slots. I would receive maybe 2 days a week, and usually the caretaker was late or a no-show. The caretakers were willing to work and learn but seemed to lack experience and/or proper training. Many times, I felt that having the respite care was more difficult on me and stressed me out more than not having them there. Maxim explained to me when I made a complaint about my time slots not being filled that this was a second job for many of the caretakers or they had their own children to watch, which to me is not a very professional or necessary way to explain lack of scheduling. Pros: Friendly workers, friendly office staff, receptive to complaints and tries to improve the complaint areas, communication between office and myself was decent. Cons: Time slots were not filled, workers late, workers untrained, scheduling is done weekly instead and on volunteer basis instead of assignment to workers making it hard to plan anything ever.

Along with all the other reviews do yourself a favor and DO NOT call this company. They have a horrible communication system. We called a month in advance to schedule a transit for my sister’s doctors appointment trip after she had surgery and the day before I had to call and see if that transit was scheduled and the representative confirmed that it was scheduled.I also called the morning of the appointment and a different representative said they did not have any vendors even though when I called the day before a different representative confirmed my time!!! If I would not have called the morning of the appointment my sister would have missed her doctor’s appointment and would have had to wait until the end of the year to see her doctor. LONG STORY SHORT THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED and you’ll have to find an alternative last minute transit.
