If you care anything about yourself or someone you love - take my advice DON'T choose this place. Here is my experience - First I signed a lease with a then Manager who told me I was allowed to smoke on my patio - which I did. When I moved in I put in a maintenance request for the outside light to be repaired, someone had cut the wires on and no bulb, also I had no hot water. I moved in in Sept - I reminded the Manager every other day - He would just ignore me telling me he was busy, or saying he would put in a request - which he never did. I needed hot water for my shower and to wash my dishes. After several months I went over his head to the housing Authority - took two times reporting this to them before they did anything. During all of this he had my Truck towed because I could not get a jump start to move it. He lied to my brother about me which ruined our relationship, he no longer speaks to me for about 2 years now. Finally in May I got a notice of a meeting with the Manager - the one that blew me off, ruined my relationship with my brother - caused me to loose my Truck was now gone. The new lady had me resign the lease, pointing out the fact that I was NOT allowed to smoke on the Patio - I had to walk further than I am able with my walker to smoke. I quit smoking it wasn't worth it to me. I was falsely accused of smoking in my apt. and evicted. Turns out it was my neighbor who told me she smoked in her unit and it was her the smoke was coming from. I tried to fight it in court - I had no lawyer they did & a witness who was friends with the Manager who was no longer there lied saying he saw me smoking. I lost having no proof - of something that never happened. Evicted leaving me homeless. Costing me things I cannot replace.

It’s gotten pretty bad ,mainly with homeless people they come on here and in here and try to take over we need some type of security to keep that part down . I’m grateful to have a place to stay but now rent is getting to high for me to be able to stay here maybe one more year is all I have left they need to upgrade on this place to make it feel like it’s worth staying here or rent here food has gone downhill I don’t like making bad reviews but I hope it helps pinewood Glen to improve for everyone who lives here feel more comfortable and feel they have a voice and that voice is heard. I been living here coming on 2 year’s in July and nothing for the elderly has changed for the good

Pinewood bugs more like it this place has bed bugs for months no mention when we we moved in our grandparent now there all bit up we are getting them out its horrible they told them were going to spray for days then we find out this has been happening for months now there stuff is infested shame on them moving people in witout warning.

I was there for 3 years I ended up on the 1st floor it's hell the 2nd floor is so much quieter and I waited 2 years and they would not let me move back upstairs they were full of bed bugs the carpet is just filthy. I asked the kitchen if that 1 meal was spicy and they said no. It was and I ended up in the hospital that night I got food poisoning from one of the meals it's all junk food. Carbs sugar I quit Eating there. Everyone knows your business they call you names talk bad about everyone. My stress was so bad I laid in my bed and cried. That building is evil. When I finally left I felt like I had just got out of hell. They fed us burnt lasagna one day and raw bloody meat one day. I wish I can post it to show you. Every year they go up on the rent $50. I couldn't afford it and now I'm homeless but at least I'm not there anymore. Good luck getting ahold of the manager she won't call u back she's not in half the time. If u move in there, good luck
