He was someone local who didnt say my idea wouldnt work. I wanted 4 horse shoes made into a self standing photo holder. Ideally I wanted it to be done fast but I'd left it all last minute and Martin stepped up big time, even though I'd have been happy with however long it took. From start to finish he listened, put in some input with his knowledge, picked up my horse shoes, cleaned them, worked his magic, dropped off the finished design and made the whole process simple, easy and stress free from my end. The final result came out even better than I'd hoped for and made me and the person it was a gift for beyond happy. Would 100% recommend him to anyone who asks in the future.

We recently had handrails fitted for my elderly parents by Martin, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Martin did an excellent job — the handrails are sturdy, well-positioned, and look great. He was professional, helpful, and took the time to make sure everything was just right. Highly recommend Martin!

Martin did a wonderful job of making our railings. He came to the house several times measuring and making sure that everything would be perfect for when they were ready to be installed. I would give a 10* rating if I could.

Fantastic bespoke blacksmith. Martin at Modern Twist made me a custom bracket intended for hanging a cartwheel. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout - timely and responsive. The end product was ideal, meeting the specifications exactly. Highly recommend. Thank you!
