Prior to becoming a resident, my grandmother volunteered for years at Martin-Boyd. So the decision to move in was easy. She and our entire family knew what a loving and helpful environment she would be living in. Everyone from the kitchen and janitorial staff to the administration and nurses were so kind and accommodating that many of them felt like family. My grandmother’s pride in her appearance and vigor for an active lifestyle were not diminished as she got older. The fact that there is an on-campus beauty salon, daily activities to participate in, and weekly field trips allowed her to continue enjoying the activities that had always been an important aspect of her life. Our family is forever grateful for the great care & compassion Martin-Boyd Home showed my grandmother.

Our community is so fortunate to have Martin Boyd Christian Home in our area. My mother, Louise Phillips, was a resident at their facility for two and a half years. During that time she received exceptional care and attention. She very much enjoyed the friendly, caring staff as did our family during visits. It was comforting to our family knowing she was in a very safe and friendly environment. Feeling so thankful for Martin Boyd.<br><br>D P Cooke

My mother was a resident at Martin Boyd for over one year. She she received excellent care by the staff. Although a number of employees were responsible for taking care of my mom, my wife and I were very satisfied with the timely service provided either as requested or needed. We found the employees to be compassionate in dealing with my mom and noticed the same attitude displayed with other residents. We would highly recommend this facility in providing assistance to someone that can no longer take care of themselves at home.

My grandmother lived at Martin Boyd for a few years in the late 1980’s, so when it became time for my mother to move into an assisted living facility I knew where I wanted my mother to live.<br>Martin Boyd provided my grandmother and mother excellent care.<br>Martin Boyd offered activities, exercising, group gatherings and a full time chef to fix 3 meals a day. A beauty shop, a laundry room and room cleaning were excellent.<br>Martin Boyd is a nonprofit organization subsidized by the Church of Christ.<br>I am thankful for Martin Boyd and their employees who took excellent care of my grandmother and mother.<br>CL

Both of my grandparents were residents at MBCH. They were both treated with the upmost dignity and respect. The staff is caring and well trained. We never worried about them while they were residents. The food is out of this world! They even have an ice cream bar that opens every afternoon for the staff and residents. I wouldn't hesitate to put any of my loved ones here. ❤️
