My father was in this facility 2014-2016 and everything was okay until I posted something on Instagram and they retaliated by discontinuing the level of care he had received....but that was questionable. The daily amount of meds he was on was off the charts. When we moved him to a better place the first thing they did was to get him off all the meds. I was there during a severe storm/derecho and they lost power. I did a video of the facility during the blackout and while it seemed okay, I think they took umbrage to my video. The next time I saw my father he wasn't being given fluids or the same kind of care and he mentioned "Something's different. Something's changed". His care changed. We had to get him out of there. The post I did was nothing bad about the facility. Some of the residents didn't even know there had been a bad storm or power failure. I'm so glad we found a better place that was more professional and less vindictive. Not sure why they chose that way to react but I took that as a reflection of the owner/operator who appears to be getting the mo$t out of running this facility. There are pictures of her adorned with large jewelry, rings, necklaces. She appears to get lots of accolades.

A family member who suffered a spinal injury (not a senior) had been in Maple Manor for more than year. He has received great care. Staff does their best to make patients feel they have what they need at all times. Very good care.

This place is disgusting. They dont answer the phone at all, refused to answer the doors and the phones so we can check on our 92 year old grandmother (no phone in her room) we dropped off food for her and she never got it. We buzzed at the door for 30 minutes for a girl to finally walk around the corner eating a chicken bone (no mask) and casually walking up the door to say that they were exposed no visitors. When the room she's sitting in is 10 seconds away from the door I shouldn't have to stand there for 30 minutes or call 15 times to check and see if my grandmother is okay. I don't recommend anybody putting their family member in this place. I understand places are understaffed but you can clearly tell the people that work there just do it for a paycheck.<br><br>My first experience walking in the door no one checked my ID ask who I was there to see, even though you have to be buzzed in and buzzed out they're not thorough on making sure people are coming in the door are actually there for a reason. Happily moving her in this weekend.
