Staff was helpful and pleasant and most important. My brother was in good spirits in spite of pain.

1st time going to a place for help, getting myself back to normal physically. The staff are so caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, humorous, kind, and will remind you of what you’re supposed to be doing or not doing. The patients were great. I made a bunch of friends. I was there for about 2 weeks. We had laughs, if you are having a hard time emotionally, staff would help you through this too. It was amazing to watch the staff do their jobs, with love, concern and compassion. And always trying to make you laugh and show you how important you were to them. Even with the difficult patients.

The people who we met were great. Tonight she's in a temporary room and will get her assigned room tomorrow.

Staff was very patient with my great Aunt she was very confused today. She is now on Hospice care. She was not awake to order dinner but the nurses aide came with her dinner and she said but I didn’t order dinner, she said I know Sheila but I know you like your grilled cheese my Aunt just smiled and said yes I do!

I wish I could give zero stars. My mother is currently staying in this awful place until we can get her out. They regularly forget medication, refused her a flu vaccine every time she asked and then she ended up catching the flu, she smells and her hair looks matted to her head every time we visit, she is miserable there, the food is awful, and they have lost or stolen about half of her possessions at this point. She recently returned from a very brief stay at the hospital to find that they had moved her to a different room (again) and lost all of her jackets, all of her pajamas, all of her personal family items, makeup, perfume, and her prescription glasses. When she feels unsteady they don't put any extra precautions in place and just allow her to fall, like she did twice while she had the flu. They don't enforce a quiet policy so people are able to blare televisions and have full volume conversations in the rooms night after night at 4:00 a.m. The place seems to be a fire trap as there are three floors of residents with only one working elevator. The second elevator has been broken the whole time she's been there . Most of their residents are in wheelchairs or walkers and would rely on that elevator to escape during a fire. The largest criticism I have is that when you talk to the staff, they have this defensive attitude. They don't actually care about my mother or want her to be well. Please don't send your loved ones here if you can avoid it.
