Treated horribly. Not even worth talking about. If the staff gets chastised for every little thing maybe pay attention to your co workers or what you are doing. It's the same in most nursing homes. If you have no family or close relations stay far away.

My friend died of an infection contracted while in their care. They died at 7:30 pm and family wasn't notified until noon the next day. When the family came, they hadn't cleaned the blood from the floor

My father passed away at the center on Nov 26th and the staff was very caring of his daily needs. The Supervisor/head nurse Jovita on the second floor is a wonderful tuff little cookie who makes sure the staff is doing their jobs. She really helped my dad and made sure to check on him constantly, she fed him and kept him as comfortable as possible. Ronda the Supervisor in charge of Social Care was very helpful with any needs or questions that arose during his stay. There were a few staff members that went the extra mile in caring for my dad. I thank you all.

My mother was in care here and the team is first class. Natalia, my mothers enrichment caregiver, facilitated my being able to videocall my mother from overseas as often as possible. Ana and the rest are wonderful. They took amazing care of my mother. If Mount Sinai Hospital recommends a place, it is generally the best of its kind. Birds of a feather flock together in medicine.

Due to severe back pain (stenosis, herniated discs, discs bulging, arthritis, etc.), my dad was admitted to Manhattanville. Selecting this center was the best decision I made for my dad. Initially, I was a little bit skeptical about the appearance of the place as aesthetically is a bit outdated. However, this place exceeded my dad's and family's expectations. Absolutely, everyone was very kind, attentive and genuinely care about the well-being of my dad. He received PT for 2.5 months as his back pain was very chronic. Nurse Assa (night shift) stood out with her attentiveness, easiness helping us all with questions and making sure our needs were met daily. She always had a smile on her face and words cannot describe how she made us all feel with her kindness. Kuddos to her!! Genesis from Physical Therapist was awesome too. She cared about dad and always kept in contact with me. She helped us prepare for dad's arrival back home by answering questions related to equipment I wanted to purchase for dad's work out at home. Towards the end of dad's stay, although insurance was no longer covering the exercises, she always looked after him to ensure he continue to receive the services he needed so he would remain well. I totally recommend this place and if need be, I would choose it again. Thank you to all the staff here for all their hard work.
