Makemie Court

Makemie Court is an affordable senior living community in Yeadon, Pennsylvania, serving low- and moderate-income seniors 55 and older as well as disabled adults of any age. Opened in 2022 by HumanGood in partnership with Inglis Housing Corporation, the community occupies a new four-story mid-rise building in suburban Philadelphia.

The community offers 44 one-bedroom apartment homes featuring contemporary finishes, smart-home technology that syncs with Amazon Echo products, and access to tranquil outdoor spaces including a gazebo, meditation garden, and looping walking path. A resident services coordinator helps residents navigate supportive services.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets and service or assistance animals in their apartments, provided management is informed. Pet rules address registration, inoculation, waste disposal, and restraint in common areas, though these rules do not apply to assistance animals. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the premises.

The community is designed for households earning a maximum income of $44,280 for one occupant or $50,640 for two occupants. Residents are qualified and accepted based on the order in which completed applications are received.
