Nontraditional review, but I was driving home to Missouri from vacation in North Carolina. My car's engine blew up on US-19, and I pulled off the highway into the closest parking lot. After three hours of troubleshooting, I walk into the facility. I asked for an administrator, explained my situation, how I had a hotel room booked for the night, and asked if I could leave my car there overnight and tow it tomorrow. She started criticizing every start of my story; that West Virginia wasn't on the route between North Carolina and Missouri, why did I pull my car into their parking lot, she was so skeptical that I drove instead of flew, etc. After asking for my name, home/vacation addresses, and car information, she asks for my ID. I walk to my car to grab it, but when I get back, I explained that it didn't feel necessary. She said that if I didn't give her my ID, that she'd tow my car. I objected, and she said I could have until they closed. I got my car moved not even 20 minutes later, thanks to some incredible people that helped me when I had nothing. Everybody else in that town was so empathetic. Even if they couldn't help, they didn't treat me like a criminal. Would you trust this place with your family?
