I met with this agency to discuss the needs of my mother, who has Alzheimer's. I had a long talk with the intake specialists, Deedee ad Joel, and explained my mother's needs, as well as her anger problems. This was well over a month before I needed the service. I then called and spoke to Denise (the owner) a couple weeks later to make sure she was aware of my mother's needs. I didn't hear from anyone in the organization so three days before services were to begin I called to make sure everything was all set. I was then told they were not going to be able to provide services for my mother because she was too angry and none of their caregivers would go. This organization boasts about its elder care and Alzheimer's expertise. This whole situation was handled extremely unprofessionally. I am now faced with returning my mother to Maine with no care in place. I question how prepared the staff here really is.
