My father is a resident at Magnolia Creek in Winston-Salem NC and he has been there for 15 plus years. The former director called me to let me know that the building had been sold. She stated that the Friday of the same week was going to be her last day. She stated that she was informed by corporate to call the loved ones of the residents to see if they would like for the residents to go with her to another location. I asked her when the building got sold and when she decided to leave that location. She replied by same that everyone happened the day that she called me. I told her that I am familiar with the selling of commercial property and a property cannot be sold within a day. I shared with her the concern that I had for my father and the other residents. It is unfair to the residents and the family to experience this type of unstable situation. I told her that I would let her know what I decided after talking to my mother.

After discussing the situation with my mom I called the director back and she told me that my father could stay at the location in Winston Salem. My mother who has a heart condition and a stroke survivor was very upset. The director was replaced with a new director. When I talked to the new director he told me that what the former director told me was not true. I asked him if they worked for the same management company and he told me that they did. I asked him why were they giving me two different stories. I told him that I felt like I was being lied to. When talking to other staff members, they told me that other families member had told them they were called by the former director as well. I am not blaming the CNAs but I am blaming corporate as well as the directors. I also mentioned to him that my mother told me that they were having to hire staff. The majority of the staff went with the former director. When I mentioned the under staff situation to the current director he told that they were hiring. I told him that they were under staff and they are trying to fill the building with residents. I shared with the new director that they do not care about the residents nor their families. He told me that he has to protect his administrative license and do his job. He promised me that I would not have the same issues as I did before. A month later my dad only had four days of blood pressure medication left. My father is a veteran and he receives his medication from the VA. I asked the director why the staff did not go to the VA to get more medication. I did not receive a phone call prior to my visit and was told that he did not have enough medication. I had to go to the VA and get all of his refills.

Also, the third party company Syncrony is sorry because they were refusing to change what they had in the computer regarding my father's medications. I provided an order and it was at the facility.

I am an only child who not only have a parent at this facility but my mother has health issues as well. I am so upset about the lack of care that my father has been receiving for years. Last year I had to take over the care for my father because my mother's health wasn't good.

Those of you who are considering this facility do not place your loved one here because they will not receive prior care.

I have a love one who calls me when treated different compared to other residents @ M.Creek. Management authority made a decision to deny my love one soap based on an assumption, No Facts. The Ombudsman addressed the issue & informed me 5/26 or 27th that my love one will get the facility soap container filled again to provide hand disenfection & etc. Today is 5/29. My love one confirmed that the soap container in the room have NOT been filled. How long does it take to refill a resident's soap container?

A 2nd issue is that my love one have been hollowed @ in front of other residents. Feelings have been hurt.
I will remind U people who are in charge OF CARING for M.Creek residents that U should be mindful of The KJV, scripture which is the Word Of God, " Do unto others as u would like for people to do unto U.

To Management Authority: The higher position u & others hold; Requires a greater responsibility on your parts Especially when professing salvation in Christ Jesus. We Christians Must show that we are Christians by Example in HOW we deal with God's people.

I encourage U ALL to be Fair in dealing with your residents whom u have the power to do so. Be KNOWN as a person who is righteous in God's sight by the Way U treat HIS people.

We who profess Salvation in Chris have a New way in Christ by FAITH. The Old man/woman that we once were are No more, by the BLOOD of Jesus that was shed on the Cross for All who Believe & Received what Jesus did for us on the Cross. We are a New people & we CAN do right by others.
What will be your decision ? 🙏🙏

Humbly submitted.

The reason why I give this five stars is because. I love the fact that the nurses take care of the elderly when they are sick.Or just not feeling well. They are the real heroes.
