My husband was at this facility last year for a couple of weeks. It’s horrible, the staff could care less about the patients! It’s filthy, they NEVER cleaned his room or bathroom so I did it myself. Food is terrible. Physical therapy is terrible as well. They WERE not even giving him his meds for Parkinson’s properly or on time! I called them out on this! I was doing his laundry, yet his Tommy Bahama shorts and shirts were disappearing! One day when I visited him he had on someone else’s clothing…I was livid! Then He fell one evening and they did not even notify me, the next day I was there and they told me…I said he needs to go to ER now! And he did, unfortunately he passed only a few days later. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! They deserve zero stars and should be shut down! They even have a 2 star review on Medicare.gov Look it up!

The care my mother received from this facility was horrific! My mother was admitted on March 15. During her stay, the level of care she received was unacceptable. She was left in wet clothing and bedding for extended periods, and no therapy had been initiated. At 4:00 a.m., I received a message from her that simply read “HELP,” which caused immediate alarm. We went to her right away and found her severely disoriented. She ultimately had to be readmitted to the hospital. What is especially troubling is that several staff members indicated they would not place their own family members in your facility. My mother’s roommate also expressed a desire to be taken home. No patient or family should ever have to experience this. Families place a great deal of trust in facilities like yours, expecting that their loved ones will receive attentive, compassionate, and professional care. That trust was not only unmet but broken. After removing my mother, every healthcare professional we encountered—including doctors, nurses, and therapists—expressed concern and disbelief that she had been in your care. Additionally, the manager on call that morning demonstrated a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, showing no interest in addressing the situation or taking accountability. We did not know the extent of these issues at the time, but we do now. I urge you to take this complaint seriously, investigate what occurred, and implement necessary improvements to ensure that no other family endures a similar experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with Lilac at Bayview Nursing Home. There were roaches present in patient rooms, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare and rehabilitation setting. In addition to the cleanliness issues, communication was a constant problem!! The front desk and phone staff were extremely rude and dismissive, and it was extremely difficult to get updates about a family member. Calls were frequently transferred to voicemails that were full, making it impossible to leave messages, and follow-ups were non-existent. Getting basic information required repeated calls and a lot of unnecessary frustration. What I found most telling is that once your loved one is discharged, the facility suddenly becomes very responsive… calling repeatedly to ask about your experience and pushing you to complete surveys privately. It feels less like genuine concern and more like an attempt to keep negative experiences from being shared publicly. Based on cleanliness issues, poor communication, and overall lack of professionalism, I would not recommend this facility to others looking for quality care for their loved ones.

Great staff, they kept a good eye on mom , Mrs Ford the nursing director was amazing as well as nurse Donna she was very personable and took really good care of my mother.Thank you, Donna, for all you did.Thank you this ford for all you've done i would like to also thank Brittany for all of her hard work on setting up my mother to go home and getting her comfortable in a bed.We had a few issues, but she's worked them out.Thank you so much for all the time.You've spent helping my mother!!

We would like to thank Anton Watson the Activities Director for scheduling the Activity Extravaganza!! The nurses and CNA did great in getting them to activities that we had set up for the residents! I am apart of a sorority that volunteered and did a spa day for the residents and we all had a blast!
